I'm enjoying the comedy. I just don't care about the romance part of it. Maybe I'm unable to emotionally connect/care about the characters. But I'm approaching it as a light watch since i want to have a laugh.
I'm really excited to see Yeeun and Jaewook. but, plotwise, i really hope they equally focus on the FL and don't make this into a "woman saves man from trauma" story. Like, I'm all for a healing/comedy/romance drama but I really hope it gives all the characters the chance to do that instead of simply turning the FL into a manic pixie dream girl.
Respectfully, I don't want men to be saved by women anymore....
Due to weirdest curiousity I have a question for people who liked this drama. Who didn't mind fl bad acting. Or…
tbh, I did not mind her acting much. She was definitely disappointing in a few scenes but her character and the setting of the scene sometimes required her to be stiff and bland. I have to point out that there is a scene or two where I thought she did well.
I understood the drama on my second watch, after reading several episode summaries. I know that's too much effort for a drama that got so much flak but I genuinely like corporate+political dramas and wanted to know what was going on.
It's not THAT bad of a drama but they definitely fell short when it came to fleshing out characters (relying on the same four flashbacks) and the camera work (choppy editing and whatnot).

Even the FL was underwhelming despite how good she was in Beyond Evil and Sound of Magic.
