calling it dragged doesn't really make sense. It was never about just catching a serial killer and that happens by ep 7. The whole point after that is the collective crime, the town's silence and ignorance about everyone being involved in some way. And the biggest part you are ignoring Dong sik finding his sister. That desperation and helplessness, the build up to it and emotional weight about being a curse who ate his family -- " it needs time " to showcase. You can't rush it in 8 episodes. The repeated scenes and interrogations aren't random, the context keep changing and as i said, how the ignorance and the town's involvement lead to such tragedy. If you cut all that - you remove the core of story and it becomes another serial killer rampage. (Pardon my grammar), and i agree this maybe it's just not your taste, and that's fine. But calling it dragged or unnecessary doesn't really hold without any actual argument - Just say u didn't like it
