Another one of those grossly overrated ones. MDL score bias showing once again.
Incidentally, this is the most accurate score that can be given to this drama.

I think not all the 11 students have family problems. Some students have good family
So ? What does that have to do with my comment?

I'm on episode 12 now and it's getting better and better. I really fell in love with these 11 kids and their parents.
That drama you didn't want to watch always surprises you.

Who’s dubbed? The main characters seem to be using their own voices
Many scenes are dubbed but they are not synchronized.
I don't look at their mouths anymore.

I've never seen such bad dubbing before. I really like the drama but it's getting on my nerves.

Disappointed in what exactly? That a drama is showing evil people doing evil things and the good guys fighting…
I understand your point, but I don't think that making the villains use certain symbols automatically means the story is criticizing them.

My concern is broader than that. I feel that repeatedly choosing to portray these specific themes and symbols throughout the drama is a deliberate creative decision. Simply placing them on the villains' side is not enough, in my opinion, to conclude that the drama is criticizing them.

There were also disturbing scenes involving horrific experiments on children and their deaths. Including such graphic themes alongside these recurring symbols made me question what the drama was trying to convey overall.

What matters to me is how the overall story frames these ideas. The ending especially didn't leave me with the feeling that evil had truly been defeated, which is why I don't interpret it as a straightforward critique.

I completely respect that others may see it differently, but this is why I reached a different conclusion.

Thank you for your apology.

However, I don’t agree with your interpretation of the ending. The story did not actually conclude with the heroes achieving clear success. Instead, what was ultimately emphasized was the immortality and continuation of the mastermind behind all these events, which changes the meaning of the conclusion significantly.

At that point, the ending itself becomes questionable in terms of its message and impact. It’s not just about symbols or isolated elements, but about how the narrative frames these actions and whether it presents them as justified, glorified, or leading to some form of “salvation” or “immortality.”

That said, I do appreciate your apology and the way you clarified your view.

It does not ,stop spreading hate.
By the way, are you a fan of Cha Eun-woo? I'm asking because this comments are about the series and its themes, not about him personally. I actually thought his performance in the drama was excellent and really enjoyed it. Our different opinions are about the show itself, not Cha Eun-woo.

My concern is the combination of several recurring symbols and themes appearing together in the same series. Any single element could be a coincidence, but when genetic experiments on children, the "chosen immortal child," the eye symbol, and other details are repeatedly presented, it's reasonable for viewers to discuss possible meanings or interpretations.

I also don't think a company would intentionally portray a group or country it supports in such a negative way. That is one of the reasons why these details caught my attention.

However, disagreeing with someone does not justify calling them "primitive" or "lobotomized." We can discuss different viewpoints without personal insults.

Please be respectful.

I started this series for its good cast and I liked at first, but...
Genetic research on children
The immortal chosen child
The eye symbol of the laboratory
The blue medicine and the Is*aeli flag
Unfortunately, it can no longer be called an accident.
I'm very disappointed.
