i honestly think that people change in every season of their lives. rumors are scary. like ariana grande said that people think that she’s done plastic surgery but she actually haven’t. I personally think that hmh grows up and he’s always constantly innovating on his looks, makeup, stylization and characterization. so we really shouldn’t judge him for petty things but just focus on more important things like the art he presents and how he inspires us to be better people. to answer your question, those two works he presents completely different characters because of his acting skills and it’s like he’s given life to them in a way that it’s hard to distinguish them based on picture alone or a short video of their characters. he looks different because of the characterization. it’s a crazy optical illusion due to his acting skills, makeup and stylization.

honestly if I had read the synopsis as is, I also wouldn’t watch this sort of movie.. but the ML actor usually picks out scripts that has great meaning and great character development, so I’m definitely going to give it a go. plus he was only pretending to be a playboy. sorta like batman now that I think about it
