hahaha! to be fair, for shallow stab wounds it does take 3-6 months of healing time in the modern era and may take several months to over a year in the olden days. the first time he got kicked, i’m sure he bled because his old wound reopened.

i think it’s like a family friendly story that explains the human condition / fraility / vices. it’s about to get deep soon in the second half. eagerly waiting for it

as viewers we can be objective about it. but as the character, it’s right, i don’t think people can let go of their hatred & obsessions that easily. blind loyalty to the emperor. but it was also talked about in the latest episode as well
