it was for the 7.7 qixi festival promo short clip. but they put a little bit of that clip when XWY wanted to enter the restaurant and saw the signal on the lantern.

Who else here is shipping XWY and Eagle King? He treats him better, gives him food, beautiful clothes, and doesn't even put him in "prison" but gives him a proper room to stay hahahaa

I read this somewhere but Limao's original name, Li Yizhi supposedly means "easy to guide/change his mind". So the whole point was trying to make him "fit" to be the emperor. It's his growth arc.

it's not really toxic at the end, they learn to love each other with positivity. He had experienced trauma, so at the end their love healed each other's wounds.

He seems like an introverted guy who never really went out to socialize, he only has little fairies accompanying him, apart from the twin guy friend that he had. I don't think he had ever experienced falling in love before. If Suying wanted to act and get close to him, it would be super easy; it's just a simple case of a marriage scam.

as long as the guests are familiar people it should be okay, i feel sad for him, he’s a bit reserved with new people… he’s so cautious now.. even though he’s actually extroverted!

Who else wants him to go film the Great Escape? Been waiting ever since the promo tour for IAN S2... Cat Brother gets shocked easily, so it would be really entertaining to watch... then peng2 can just hug him since apparently he's quite brave hahaha... manifesting... next year pleaseeee

yeah but this drama becomes more meaningful because XWY practices “restraint” it’s one of the core values that defines his character too!

guys, it feels choppy because they deliberately want you to think, they leave clues and context but you have to piece it together yourself to understand and enjoy it fully. it’s not like the spoonfed type of drama that tells you everything, you have to try and understand each character’s motivations and ambitions, sometimes they even lie. So don’t take everything word for word, you have to understand the complex human dynamics and politics. and the beginning and ending has callbacks and symmetry. it’s really quite satisfying once you get it! great rewatch value too!

i think they both suit the characters they’re portraying; so if they miss out, it’s on them. the rest of us wants to see this work succeed.

Last I heard they’re still trying to get the name approved, right now half is saying it’s NianXiangSi and half are saying it’s ChangShenGu. We probably need to wait for the official announcement.

I agree, I read the novel too, it’s been confirmed that there will be rewrites but we just don’t know to what extent. I remember “Love in the Clouds” had major rewrites too, and it became the dark horse drama of the year. I think they will definitely do something about it because this will be a high budget production.

So here's the tea: after the show yesterday, I realized I’d left my phone bag inside the venue. I went to find staff for help (I felt so bad since they were already off duty! But the Wuliangye staff were super nice. One guy even walked us back into the venue to look, and when we couldn't find it, he contacted other staff for us. We found it in the end! Huge thanks to every single staff member who helped 🙏🙏)

Then, halfway there, this guy suddenly started hyping up Neo Hou. Basically said stuff like:
"His stage presence is amazing... tons of people come here for concerts every year, but he's top-tier, ceiling-level... He really puts his heart into it and cares about fans—the extended stages, lifts, all that. And the fans are so supportive too, it's a total two-way street..."
He also praised Kiwi fans for being orderly, saying "Sure enough, if you like someone excellent, you won't be bad either" hahahaha. I was feeling kinda down from losing my stuff plus the heat and exhaustion, but hearing this made me grin instantly. So happy! Gold always shines; outstanding people will eventually be seen by more people.

And finally, as we were leaving, a staff girlie came over pointing at the Kiwi dog on my bag asking "Is this it? From the gift pack? It's so cute." Then she turned around and told another colleague, "I want one, go get me one!" 🤭

Guys, I’ve been scavenging videos of his concert and so many funny moments happened!! Like:
- when he snapped his super expensive sword; once during rehearsal (he admitted his team had to rush and get a replacement from a different city lol) and once on stage (i loved the 2nd day flag dance more even though the first one was more epic)
- getting shocked with his eyes wide open by a male fan screaming “hubby I love you!”
- opening up a bottle but proceeded to drink his mic 😂
- when he was talking about his new song, his fans were shouting “take it off” and he teased them with a kitty tantrum while smiling “don’t you want a new song, why do you keep saying take it off!!”
- during the first day of the Simon performance the rain was so heavy he had to shake his head before he could sing again! He also literally had to crawl because his mic was too far haha! (then they adjusted less rain for the second day hahaha) (he even joked the next day that his metal head chain rusted)
- when eating the burger on the second day, he hanged his robe around the chair 😂
- the fact that he couldn’t hold back his laughter both times when the fans shouted for HS “bankrupt!”, but was shocked when he thanked weibo, and they just continued shouting “bankrupt” anyways
- him totally flunking the Chengdu/sichuan accent

Too entertaining!! 😂
