Deng Yi, I know you've already received a coffin and I don't judge CZ π€£.
But watching episode 5, at the moment when she's talking about his mother, Deng's look is so expressive at that moment, I could easily read what he wanted to say. Certainly something I couldn't write here because it would be extremely offensive. I like the fact that I'm able to like the villains as much as I like the main leads.
I just find Yiran character here to me so close to his character in Generation to Generation....πIt almost…
Yiran always chooses different scripts. All the dramas I've watched are completely different from each other. But this unhinged attitude seems to be a trait in his other characters π€£π€£π€£. I won't lie, it suits him very well; in Generation it seemed like that character was made for him, and it's not much different here.
I think it is alright, always criticism for everything, but they both are doing great in their respective roles…
I like the entire cast so far. As I said, the biggest problem is some aspects of the editing. In the palace scene, where she uses the sword, you'll see that at some points her hand is bloody, and then no blood. How could she have blood on her hands if the sword is not full of blood.? These are just a few details π
- An example of a strong and wild woman, she was able to ride alone from the desert to the capital. That's a very…
No offensive words. In her first life, she was intelligent but naive; she had a different view of the world, mainly because she wanted to live and get to know her mother a little better.
And when she needed her father's support, she didn't have it.
This made her even more attached to Xiao, someone who seemed to love and support her.
In her second life, she has a different perspective, which allows her to explore her wisdom even further.
I got migraine watching the red palace set up and adding salt to the burn the setting is in autumnπ«
I'll watch the episode today. It's a shame that tomorrow it starts being one episode per day. Which is also good considering there are only 24 episodes.

During filming I already knew this, we have so many details in red, so many costumes. It was already very characteristic from then on. But not having other sets might be too much. I don't know if that changed in today's episodes, I'll see later.
the VA for first life!chu zhao sounds really young but afterwards the VA sounds more like her!! i feel like she's…
Yes, the first dubbing was right for young CZ, and I was hoping to hear Duling's voice after that. The voice itself isn't bad, it's just that it's not her voice. I like Duling's voice π₯Ή
I just finished watching episode 4. I've been looking at this page since yesterday, and some comments have really worried me. The first thing that scared me was the dubbing; how dare they dub Duling? I don't remember watching another drama with Yiran with a voice other than his own. That really saddened me.
I followed a good part of the filming last year; I love Duling and Yiran, so it was one of the dramas I'd been waiting for since then. I feel we have some problems here, especially for those who are more attentive, but this is mainly related to editing and directing. We have some continuity errors, not very good CGI, and many close-ups, which brings a tension that seems exaggerated.
Another thing that might bother is the fact that in these first 4 episodes, we're stuck with scenes in the palace, where everything is red( but I already knew that), and we don't get to know anyone or anything beyond that setting.
Furthermore, the cast is giving their best; we can see Duling's transition from a naive young woman in the first few minutes, and then she gradually transforms into someone wise and fierce. Yiran, as always, manages to convey so many emotions, and his fight scenes are always very good. His smile at the end of episode 4 is so classic of him, and it was at that moment that I realized it was probably his first smile so far.

As always, I need a few hours. Aaaah
