I think Zhuge had a lot of charisma and was incredibly smart; we were all captivated by him. At times, especially in the first half, I also thought Zhuge and Xueman spent too much time together, but then, I realized they had a healthy relationship, they were just good detectives who could work together. Zhuge never showed any interest in Xueman and had a lot of respect for Beiming. Beiming and Xueman actually had a mature relationship, having grown up together, without pressure or that need for conquest that makes us feel butterflies in our stomach. They loved and understood each other, and for them, that was enough.
I won't be able to watch it now either 😭. I stopped watching other dramas so I could focus on TWD, and now I need to try to get back to watching these dramas.
