It seems the love story gets worse with each newer generation š¤. I loved the first coupleās story, liked…
I took a break from watching on the first day the third story started⦠I think your comment is confirming that I should stay on that break a little longer š„“. FL on the third story is the one I cannot tolerate but Iām not sure why.
Unless I missed something. What happened with Yang Xue An & Yun Qing. I hope they expand on them. The third…
She broke up with him but I donāt know how he got to the place of unemployment. What did he do to be put on leave? I donāt think theyāll expand more, I was still trying to understand what happened to Wen and Yi but next thing I know, we are on the 3rd arc already.
Also, how did Wen and Yi find themselves so poor and losing connection with their son? Did they join another movement?…
So the regression is what they āimpliedā that was going on when she met the son in that house? She looked unwell. That makes sense that she looked like that.
Iām having a hard time finding interest in the 3rd arc š¬.

How did Wen die? Did he end himself?
I donāt like how the ending was rushed. They dropped hints but brushed them off as if everyone knows about historical events in China. What happened that Yi looked so broken when she met the son and why did the son say that his daughter will not have Wenās last name?
A lot of people don't like it as much after ep 10/11 because it moves on from Jelly Lin and Cheng Lei, their characters…
The story will feel suffocating if you are not used to the communist ways. I felt frustrated because the behavior was new to me. It seems that others who are used to seeing the way are ok with it? I still pushed through to watch, Iām curious about the third arc.
Yi and Wenās romance is so cute š„¹, I caught myself smiling a few times.
Second story is not bad, the problem was the constipated trio who made the second arc unbearable. I was having a good time on episode 19 until I saw his face with his glasses come back on episode 20 then remembered to be pissed off.
Yeah, the old communist way, your life belongs to the team, your choice is make by the team and everything yours…
Itās hard for me to grasp tbh. I tried to look for neutral resources to understand the political ideology but itās hard to find. I find extreme ends of the opinions on that matter. I think itās one of those situations that you have to live to understand and your background will weight on the decision which way you lean. My brain just canāt comprehend.
