why is this so waited for....so many reservations and whatnot....is it cause of the actors or is it based on a…
Yeah, you already answer it. Reservation numbers usually mean a lot of people are hyped or curious about the drama. It could be because of the popular cast with big fanbases, the story’s from a well-known novel or IP, or just because the drama itself looks really interesting.
I hate you YOUKU I hope you suffer loss as a company I never cursed anyone like that but I'll do it for you
Yeah, we didn’t get any materials during the Youku Conference, and for sure we also won’t get any materials on the Mid-Autumn Festival on October 6, since some Youku dramas will be releasing materials that day.
I really wish this wasn’t a Youku drama. If TEF were an iQIYI or Tencent Video drama, it would’ve probably aired by now.
You know, I’m already feeling a bit jealous of some historical dramas that are about to air. This isn’t hate, but if you know the drama that’s airing on October 8, I think that’s the fastest historical drama from Youku to air this year. It finished filming in early 2025, got its distribution license just a few months ago, and now it’s already set to air.
Quick question: For the heat index, do they only look at the Chinese version of Youku or do they look at the international…
The heat index is only available on Mainland China.
They don’t count data from the international version since Youku China and Youku International don’t share the same server. It’s the same case for Tencent Video, iQIYI, and MangoTV.
The same applies to viewership; only data from Mainland China is considered.
Honestly wouldnt be surprised at all if this randomly dropped like Love's Ambition or Love in the clouds or yummyx3...then…
Hidden Shadow was supposed to air in May, and it already had a pre broadcast investment promotion (seeking investors and advertisers).
The only reason it didn’t air seems to be that the pre broadcast investment promotion was unsuccessful, with low investment and failure to attract more investors. That’s the only issue Youku considered. Actually, it’s Youku’s fault because they started the investment promotion too late. As far as I remember, they only began about two days before May, which wasn’t enough time to find investors and advertisers for the drama.
The only thing randomly drop is Love's Ambition, that drama is airdrop release.
Airdrop release of the drama is zero promotion, don't expect official announcement of air date.
While, Love in the Clouds and Yummy Yummy Yummy both have an official announcement
You can check teh official weibo and Douyin account of Love In The Clouds and Yummy Yummy Yummy, there are realising promotional materials everyday before it's premiere.

What you mean about randomly drop of Love In The Clouds and Yummy Yummy Yummy?
Both dramas has a proper promotion and pre broadcast investment promotion or seeking investors and advertisers before the broadcast schedule a month ago? Both dramas are not airdrop or airborne release, both dramas are not randomly drop.
Love in the clouds and Yummy Yummy Yummy is plan to air during national holiday and mid autumn festival in China.
Is the timer for d-day (8th October) 6:00am (Germany) and then again always 12:00pm (Germany) ?
The drama will air everyday at 12:00 PM ( China Time), Youku always air the drama at 12:00, but if the drama will simultaneously air on SatelliteTV or non SatelliteTV it will air during the prime time slot, for example is The legend of Zhang hai.
It will air once the distribution license is issued.
As of now, the drama is still in review process and based on the portal from Yunhe no records found yet about the license so it means no distribution license.
Btw, I’m using the Yunhe platform on the Weixin app to check drama updates about the review and distribution license. Yunhe has a feature that tracks the distribution license status and whether the drama has passed the review, but this feature requires a subscription.
Another international audience clearly has no brain cells. That comment said in other threads that Fated Hearts, Love in the Clouds, Yummy Yummy Yummy, and Love’s Ambition were released because the streaming platforms wanted to cover up Yu Menglong’s case.
What are your thoughts on this kind of crazy international audience? How is that even possible when all these dramas had already started pre-broadcast investment promotion before Yu Menglong’s death? The user is just making fake accusations against the mentioned dramas and the streaming platforms.

The only thing you did is the Youku Investment promotion that listed as upcoming drama from Q4 2025 and 2026.
Again, don't spread the fake information about that, Youku never shared a calender.

What's randomly drop? Are you new to c-drama?
So this drama is likely to air in late or end of October.
Also, on the premiere day, Youku usually releases 4 episodes for SVIP members and 3 episodes for VIP members
