Title Dream to You Spoiler
What a disappointment! It started out well and just got ridiculous in the end. The whole breakup was the dumbest…
First of all, you completely missed the point that he didn’t become a director on his own. He became a director FOR HER — so that he could help her, understand how things worked on set, and make sure she wouldn’t have to face those difficulties alone. Of course he feels like he has nothing left without her, because his inspiration was the person he loved — HER. If you had been a little more attentive, you would have noticed that his very first award-winning film was also written with HER in mind.

Secondly, they were technically NEVER actually broken up. He simply gave her the space she needed without putting any pressure on her. He didn’t let her know whether he was suffering because he knew that if she knew he was hurting, she would suffer too. And she chose not to talk to him while she was away because she wanted to come back to him as his EQUAL — meaning she wanted to have just as much knowledge and experience in filmmaking as he did, as she also pointed out.

I’m not saying this in a mean way, but next time, try to put yourself in the characters’ shoes instead of thinking about what you would do if you were in their situation. People who read reviews often end up getting a negative impression of a movie or series simply because of people who don’t know how to appreciate and experience stories for what they actually are, rather than judging them based on what they personally would have done.

Title Dream to You Spoiler
I genuinely don’t understand all the hate and bad reviews?!

First of all, why does everyone keep saying that the father should have been punished differently?! In real life, what more could Su Bin’s mother realistically have done?! Go to the police and try to take down a powerful man?! She chose to leave things as they were and move on with her life, and honestly, was better for her after everything she went through with her abusive husband.

And why does everyone want a different ending?! Why?! Why is Su Bin pathetic for waiting two years for the woman he loved?! I genuinely feel sorry for those of you who have never experienced love in its truest form (I swear, some of the people hating on this are definitely single ).

And the people saying that the directors chose the wrong career… do you genuinely have that little understanding of storytelling? Not every scene in a movie or series is going to be exactly what you want or expect.

If you watch a movie or series and you don’t like it, you can simply stop watching it. You don’t have to spend your time hating on it just because you didn’t enjoy it.

And as for Su Bin’s biological mother, the director eventually gave her a chance to change and take the right path. Again, where is all this hate coming from?!

And the soundtrack was absolutely phenomenal. Every scene had the perfect song to match what was happening and really brought the emotions of each moment to life.

Grow up, people.

If you’re so unhappy with the movies and series you watch, I’d love to see you make one yourselves if you’re such great film critics.

Please, don’t listen to people who rate this series a 5 or 6.

If all the problems in movies and series were solved simply and normally, there wouldn’t be any movies or series left to watch.

When you watch a movie or series, in my opinion, you should also think about why each character does what they do. For example, in this series, if the ML had told her everything about her past that she had forgotten right away, she wouldn’t have fallen in love with him, which would mean there would be no romance. She also would have dug her own grave because she was too panicked and didn’t have any concrete evidence that what he was saying was actually true. That would result in there being no suspense or interesting storyline left to watch in the K-drama.

It’s not an absolutely amazing series, but it was enjoyable to watch.

Give it a try, and don’t listen to people who have no personality or who expect every movie or series to be exactly to their taste.
