Rati and Kan might live in the same world, but if they only meet in dreams, Rati may not know anything about Kanâs real life. Maybe Kan is a stranger to her outside of dreams, or maybe Kan doesnât really exist in the real worldâonly in Ratiâs mind.

in the pilot of Dream mind rati meets kan in her dreams however, upon waking, she cannot find Kan in the real world. this suggests that kan may exist only within rati's dreams, leaving her confused and longing to understand the connection between her dream encounters and reality.
