Yo. I miss this page being so active and everyone was starting to worry that this drama got shelved because of the lack of updates and that it would never actually air😂

Maybe you watched a different drama. It never reached an 8.9 rating. It was sitting at 8.6-8.5 until episode 26, then dropped to 8.1 within just an hour. That kind of sudden drop feels more like a mass-rating wave than a natural change in audience opinion.

Power rangers do exist in the end😭

They might give us a S2, but it’ll probably be more of a standalone series with a different set of characters and a completely new storyline. Maybe it’ll stay in the same universe or follow similar themes, but I doubt it’ll directly continue the current plot.

It’s sad and exhausting seeing people use Joseph as a scapegoat just to downgrade the entire drama. They’re constantly dragging JL character, acting like he has no right to be powerful just because he wasn’t the true god😥

Veil of Shadows is, without a doubt, a true "vibe" drama, an immersive, dark and beautiful puzzle that rewards viewers who are willing to sink into its atmospheric depths. While those seeking a rigid, logic-first narrative might find their patience tested by its lyrical pacing and abstract storytelling, for me, this drama is an absolute masterpiece.

​To the critics and "haters" claiming there is no plot, that’s a fundamentally flawed take. The plot is absolutely there, but it is woven into the character arcs rather than being handed to you on a silver platter. Dismissing the show as "just CGI" is a lazy critique from viewers who only focus on surface-level action. If you don't appreciate a character-centric story or have a grasp of the philosophical themes at play, then this show simply isn't for you. It requires a level of emotional and intellectual engagement that goes beyond just "watching a show" it’s about understanding the internal struggles and the heavy symbolism that drives every scene. To look at such a profound work and see only the visuals is to miss the entire soul of the story.

Why reject this makeup artist?

Because their makeup style tends to contour the nose too heavily. Ju’er already has a naturally well-defined nose, and for Su Lüxia, the makeup should suit a strong female lead image. This artist’s style likely wouldn’t achieve that kind of look.


Why reject this director?

Because their previous works haven’t been very satisfactory overall. It’s not about a lack of trust, but World of Ten Thousand Flowers is an extremely important IP for Ju’er.
As fans, there’s only so much we can do. Ju’er also cares deeply about the character Su Lüxia. All we can do is offer suggestions and hope the production team will seriously consider them and make improvements.

As JJY fan, we’re actually okay even if she doesn’t get that much screentime. It’s not really about quantity, it’s about how her character is built up, right now, we mostly just see her crying and longing for her love, and it would be nice to get more depth or layers to her role.

And I really like how they portrayed WWY, her character feels independent and well-established as a mature, reliable sister. WSG is also well-developed, discovering things on his own and growing into his role. Rui as well, he’s becoming one of the most powerful and you can clearly see his progression
that’s why we’re just hoping LWY gets that same kind of buildup, not necessarily more scenes, but more substance, so her character can feel just as strong and meaningful and tbh, I hope this doesn’t frustrate fans to the point where they start giving the drama low ratings or spreading negativity just because their favorite doesn’t have enough screentime. Btw we’re still happy JJY was cast in this drama and we just want to see her character reach her full potential❤️
