I think most of us who were disappointed are more than likely only disappointed because the show was originally received to be a darker romance, I know I was really surprised at Ramil's personality in comparison to how he was portrayed in the original trailer. I also know that this is probably due to the project being shuffled from WabiSabi to GMMTV.I don't think it deserves as much hate as its gotten tho. The ending did feel a little rushed to me, and I was not expecting--after all of the emphasis on family--for Punn to just go live the rest of his forever in the very painting he released Ramil from, and that Pokpong would just let it happen. Personally I was a little bummed about the fighting scenes--especially at the end--but theres no doubt that the casting was well done, I think everyone fit their piece. The ending of the hunters really felt lack luster--but it was kinda nice that they got to return to being regular humans again instead of the constant threat of a supernatural predator (except i was really confused about all of the vampires being released from having to serve a hierarchal family and simply being trusted not to kill/harm anyone since that was very much at minimum hinted at prior to Methas taking over)
What really saved it for me was how open ended it was at the end with Methas taking over and Junior showing up as Moon Dal; hinting at a potential sequel with a vampireXwerewolf plot instead of a vampireXhunter one. I love Junior and Mark, and tbh Mark showed a personality I don't think we have seen in any character he's played which was really refreshing--we love actors with range~
I think there is potential if they decide to stick with the idea of a sequel, all in all a fun series--my only complaint is that I was expecting a darker/more serious series after we got the romcom from My Golden Blood.

part 2 came straight for your heart tbh
I know this is only the first story of part 2 but the acting along side with the heartbreak of this story kept me wishing I waited for the whole series to air so I could binge it all at once. Waiting every week had me internally screaming.One thing I gotta point out immediately is Tonliew absolutely killed it with the emotional scenes. My heart was actively breaking every time this man came to each scene teary eyed or with gut-wrenching sobs. I don't know how else to explain it, I am really impressed by actors who are able to make you feel the emotional pain they are trying to portray. Specifically the scene where him and Fah are on either side of his room door and he is lying to Fah about how he didn't want to see him anymore. I immediately thought of Namping in Khemjira after with lake scene involving (if you know you know, I don't wanna spoil a different series in this review), that sort of stomach-dropping hysterical sobs.
I went into part 2 knowing nothing about the novel and kept reading comments about Fah being 'a wolf in sheeps clothes' and boy oh boy were they not joking (and even more so after reading the novel like holy shit).
Their story was wonderful, none of that prolonged misunderstanding plot nonsense you get with a lot of BL's, the 'conflict' was understandable and Fah's character never held it against Phoon.
The friendship of this group of four (north, easter, typhoon and dao) was my absolute favorite, we love supportive besties. North was my favorite in part 1, this man is a ride or die and I was reminded over and over again how fantastic of a character he is. (and after punching phoon's dad, this mans biggest worry was 'oh shit what do I tell johan' like I cannot express enough how much I adore north) I hope we continue to see these four support each other in the next two stories. (although I know Nao and Tiger aren't as tightly involved as the other's but I am looking forward to their story nonetheless)
There were things that were different from the novel, but all in all I thought it was great for only having 8 episodes to tell the whole story with. (of course the nc scene's were *not* going to be novel-accurate, if you know you know, but that shouldn't deter or take away from the story imo)
definitely would recommend and am looking forward to the next story from part 2!

Decent and doesn't deserve the hate its getting.
Everyone keeps comparing this to other series with a similar plot, and while I get it--I don't think that Love Destiny deserves the amount of hate it's getting.Tbh I was stoked to see Leng back on the screen in a main role after the shit he went through, and August is so fkn handsome, I think they had great chemistry. I will admit the script was a bit weak. I think, given a better story, these two could make something great.
All in all I enjoyed the series, but I think after Love Upon A Time people had higher expectations. Which is totally valid, but we can critique a series and compare it to others without absolutely dogging on it.
The NC scene was really nice, I loved the atmosphere, and I wasn't expecting it. The ending, however, felt rushed, and I would have liked to see a better reunion between the two. The way they left things felt unfinished.
That being said I would love to see these two in more in the future.

mind-blender and not as bad as everyone says
I'll start off by saying--I still don't entirely know what happened in this series. That being said, the comments are dramatic as that lack of understanding is its only flaw.The concept/idea was super thought provoking, and given more time to fully flesh it out (longer than just 7 episodes that's for sure) it would have been a really cool production.
The actors are all extremely talented and showcased how each character was complex and had more depth than 7 episodes would allow to explore.
Personally? I enjoyed the series, even if I was asking myself what was going on the whole time.
However, I can definitely understand that this type of series wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea.
If you were looking for a BL with a clear cut love story--then this definitely isn't for you.
I would love to see these actors in more, the fact that all four boys seemed to have some kind of chemistry with each other was what really kept me coming back for the next episode, on top of the fact that I really love apocalyptic-type series, and this one definitely scratched something in my brain.
So once again, in my opinion, the only flaw is that it was too short to fully explain what was going on in the story.
Truly had it been longer I think I would have enjoyed it much more, and all in all I am excited to see what Earth, Leo, Double and First bring to the table in their next series.

What the heck was that
I want to start off by saying--I know these two can act, so this has got to be a situation where the direction and script were at fault.I was so excited for this series before it came out--but it was sloppy and super disappointing. The story had promise, but the execution was all over the place and tbh really bad imo. I know both actors know how to do their job, but this was so insanely disappointing. The audio was off at times, the script was embarrassing and because of the direction it almost seemed like it was their first job. Some of the cuts were inconsistent and some episodes were just edited badly.
I can't wait to see them in other series, because they deserved better.

10/10 Actors 3/10 script
The actors were great, the plot/script was confusing--but maybe that was just the subtitles?Music was good, the concept (from what I could gather) was decent and could have been really great given more time, but I was confused most of the time about what was actually going on.
Jeon Yubin is great as always, loved the new actor who's name I didn't catch, would love to see him in more!

Grape plot ruined it.
There's no way its 2025 and there is a plot like *this*. This genuinely had so much potential.Apparently in the novel he does in fact ass*ult Mild in his sleep, idk if they changed it in the series or not--because I dropped it the moment they threw that bullshit in there.
There's nothing about it that's okay and the fact that there is people in the comments trying to justify it is really concerning, Do better.
The second couple is the best, hands down. The third--I really hope they got together because it was a cute dynamic. They could have 100% tossed that part out, or turned it into a sort of PSA as they did with the HIV and prEp side note from Kan's patient.
I am all for toxic BL's, give me the red flags of possessiveness and controlling behavior--they did not handle it tastefully.
Do yourself a favor and watch My Magic Prophecy or Dating game, they have actual plot and *consent*. If you want something more spicy I highly recommend the japanese adaptation to Love Sea called Love Sea: A Home For Lovers you get really good NC scenes and loads of consent.
I hope the MC's get decent scripts/roles in the future, I would love to see them really be able to show their acting skills.

The potential was there I promise
I, personally, loved this story, I put it off for a while because I wasn't entirely interested in the concept of the plot, but was here for Bas.When I finally sat down to watch it I really really enjoyed the plot.
It was semi-political without being over saturated in it.
The story itself was raw and thought provoking in my opinion. It just fell short in some areas.
I saw some complaints about how they got romantic too quick, but you have to understand a few key points--it was only 8 episodes long.
This story was full of a LOT of trauma and ptsd, there was a level of comfort that was completely realistic in this kind of setting. I think, given the number of episodes and context of the plot, it really did ease into the romantic tension.
The love interest's actor, opposite to Bas, felt really inexperienced--and tbh from the look of his MDL profile he was! He wasn't awful by any means! However I think it would have been a stronger story with a more experienced actor with Bas.
I was really excited to see Bas as a lead again, and I think with more direction and maybe some more acting shops it could have been a better production.
Where it succeeded was the emotional scenes. The beginning with the bomb going off at the school that started Ravin's PTSD, the death of the leader of the party and the way his daughter grieved, the death of said daughter by the newly appointed hot head of a leader and the way everyone reacted to it--which I think the other lead handled really well.
All in all, I enjoyed it for the most part. The other lead, Atip, I hope he is casted in more roles, I think he has a lot of potential; and of course LOVE Bas and hope to god we see him in more lead positions in the future.

Brilliant Start, Rushed and Disappointing Ending
When the series first started I was really excited, there was a lot of potential and the story concept itself was exciting. The acting isn't awful but I think with a little more workshop time put in and a stronger script the acting could have been better.About halfway through it started to be less entertaining, maybe its because it was only 8 episodes long that I didn't feel there was enough emotion being felt through the acting, it started to feel more rushed and there wasn't enough push and pull from the love triangle-type thing they were pushing for.
The ending had me unbelievably disappointed, character deaths that left me feeling literally nothing. The characters seemed to just brush past it for being so in love/loving towards those that died? I think it could have been really meaningful to see a breakdown or two to really solidify the acting from the characters left. There was way too much that was left unsaid/unexplained/unseasoned for my taste. Peem showing up threw me for the biggest loop, and how Thara and Khun acted left me bewildered, there was no shock or emotion just an immediate 'you get the job' simply because he looked like Siwat, I assume the idea is Siwat reincarnated again? Somehow?
Overall, I thought it was okay, I just expected so much more from such a cool concept.
I do, however, hope to see the main three in other series in the future, I know this was Ongsa's first series and with a little more experience he could bring more personality to the characters he plays.

Absolutely Deserves Best Series of the Year Award
I wanna start off by saying I cried so much watching this series. I knew Ongsa had more in store after his first series and he is such an expressive actor and clearly has grown so much since The Cursed Love.I think these two have amazing chemistry, the story of Phob and Tinn was everything I wanted from a series from this era.
The constant conflict and having to decide between royal duty and love is such a good trope in my opinion and this was, so painfully, well executed.
Pond as Chat gets me, I cannot express how talented that man is, I know a lot of us were eating his spoiled brat royalty up. I always say if an actor makes you hate their character due to that character's personality then they did a good job.
The last episode tore me to shreds tho.
I was hoping Phob would walk through when they were mourning him at the house and when it faded to his mother crying while looking at his photos I was sobbing.
I try to steer clear of sad endings and I was begging for it to not be true.
Poor Tinn and Phob's mother mourned for a whole month before he came back, and during the scene in that grassy area I was holding my breath hoping he wasnt having some kind of delusion due to his grief.
I think this series was so well done, the actors did so well and the story was everything.
I don't know how else to praise this series, it is well deserving of their Best Series of the Year award.
I hope this kickstarts more roles for Ongsa, and I would love for Inn and Ongsa to be an official pairing for future series.
Highly recommend, but definitely bring some tissues bc it's gonna kick you in the feels.

so worth the wait
I really don't even know what specifically to touch upon with this series, I'm kinda in awe after the last episode.Net and JJ did such a fantastic job, Domundi really does put in the effort.
The yearning you feel watching both NetJJ and LatteKim's character stories is addicting imo.
I personally love period drama's, and this one did not disappoint.
JJ's character is such a goofball but I was so here for it, I truly did not expect him to pull a 180 with the scenes where the character is being killed/harmed.
I have to make a point about Latte and Kim, I was really impressed with them. Kim is absolutely gorgeous, the final episode had him all glammed up and I was here for it.
The NC scenes were done so well too.
I think, personally, the last episode felt a bit rushed. Everything happened so fast with the memories reveal and all the things leading up to Nakun going back in time and returning to the present day, I was not expecting Phop to have already been waiting. I really did like how they handled the time travel bit, I just wished it was prolonged a little more maybe?
It's still a fantastic series in my eyes and I am looking forward to what both NetJJ and LatteKim bring to the table moving forward.

full of symbolism that leaves a lasting impression
The entire concept of this series was a hit imo, I'm genuinely surprised some people rated it so low.To start, Dew was everything. I loved his acting I loved his character and I loved how symbolism followed the story from start to finish. I was rooting for both pairings at different points, while knowing full well that OffGun was the end game.
Pheem totally deserved better and there is no argument that could convince me otherwise, but he *was* obsessed with the idea of Jira. I think a lot of people can relate to that, idealizing someone without fully understanding them.
Each character had their flaws without them being brushed over or excused, and I *loved* Emi's character for keeping it 100% real with Jira when he was being indecisive, self loathing or ready to stay stagnant in his sadness.
The episode where Dew's character destroyed things in the rage room was so raw that it felt borderline red flag-like, but it was such a contrast from the Pheem we saw leading up to that point and that in and of itself felt so poetic.
In my opinion, as a former art student, the entire series was a work of art. There were so many comparisons to be made, and the controversy that comes along with AI art was well executed. Jira had every right to be furious and heart broken over Koh doing something so carelessly, but it gave a very real insight to what our current and future will be. AI isn't going away any time soon, and while that's no excuse for anyone to utilize AI to take over the real-life blood, sweat and tears that artists put into their work--it is unfortunately something we have to work a compromise with. At the end of the day AI is us, and what we put into it it will spit back out, as much as I hate to admit.
The constant contrast between machine and flowers had me over the moon, but I might be biased as I love contrast and seeing things that are opposites mesh together.
The art Jira (did gun really paint these? bc ohmygod) made was absolutely beautiful, and very much up my alley, I would spend hours at a showing looking at this form of art. My favorite piece was 100% the piece of Pheem from the rage room, it was almost heart breaking to look at and the edges of the painting reminded me of wings coming off of him, which tied back into one of the first pieces Jira painted of Koh where the angel is coming down to kiss him.
Also the music for the series was chef's kiss, I don't think any series has made me save as many songs as I did with this one.
All in all I think it was a fantastic series and I can't wait to see Dew in more complex character roles.
I forgot to mention the whole concept of "burnout syndrome" was so extremely well done as an active theme from start to finish--I cannot praise that detail enough.

10/10 easily best of 2025
I am honestly surprised to see (although few) lower ratings.The amount of twists blew me away, for starters, they really keep you on your toes and coming back for the next episode.
The story for Ramphueng was absolutely heart breaking, and the actress did such a good job. The moments of emotional hysteria were played out so well by the respective characters--without giving too much away--I live for those moments where actors portray their character in such a raw format.
They fed us well tbh, with a few episodes being almost 2 hrs long--I really feel like we were spoiled the whole series. Waiting every week for the next episode was killing me.
all in all they genuinely did a phenomenal job and I highly recommend watching.

Toxic BL done well 10/10
GIRL I cannot praise this series enough.The casting, to the acting, to the music, to the ending--it was everything we wanted out of a toxic BL.
The chemistry between these two was insane. I am a lover of toxic BL's, and I think they did really well. The novel is waaay more toxic, and spicy, than they translated to the series but I am glad they toned it down a bit.
There was a lot of character redemption for Jane Patrick, and tbh we all saw it coming but the execution of it was really satisfying.
With how insanely red flagy he was in the beginning I wasn't sure how they were going to end the series on a happy note. The moment everything was happy they threw in another curve ball just to keep us on our toes.
I was ROOTING for Dan and Putt so heavily and the moment that shit with Putt happened I was like WHY. However they were just preparing us for the red flag series those two will be together in and I was kinda here for it.
Anyway 10/10 series, waaay up my alley.

gamer boyfriends being wholesome
I think this series was really cute, Bas and Maxky are always a treat to see on the screen. It was very different from the characters that got me hooked on the pairing but seeing Bas play a more shy character and Maxky a more goofy one was a treat.I do agree I wish there was a tiny bit more romance, but I also think the people rating this sooo low because of it is a little overkill. I think maybe we are all just used to a bit more explosive romance from these two.
Gunner Newton kinda kept my eyes glued to them a majority of the time. There was a tension there that was insane and I really really loved their chemistry.
I LOVED seeing Ben and Jay back on the screen as a subtle side character pairing, I wish we had gotten more out of them tho. I hope we see more from both pairings, Ben and Jay stole my heart with Caged Again and I know some people hated it but I can't relate. I get excited to see them both on the screen since that series.
I wont lie that this was a little lackluster than I was expecting, but I am also chalking this up to it not entirely being my type of series. I like a little more tension personally. I think the most memorable scene for me was the scene where Bas's and Maxky's character were in the bedroom and it was very clear Bas's character wasn't ready to get physical, the display of recognizing when your partner wasn't ready to take things to the next step was literally everything, even if it was just a small scene.
It left a lasting impression on me.
Anyway, excited to see what comes next for all characters~
