Set up was definitely very sad. I think it was made even sadder by the fact that it’s a pretty realistic scenario…
Absolutely. imagine just existing and all of sudden having to take if a whole human being, especially a baby who needs so much attention. it doesn’t help that the ml was not on good terms with his brother. Woo Joo obviously deserves the best but I get where the ml is coming from

I agree. I like how they handled the sibling relationships with both of the leads. I felt really sad for ml and the brother because they never got to make up. At least the fl only had a fight with her sister, yes she said some regrettable things but I’m sure her sister understood what she was going through and wouldn’t hold it against her. it just made me feel sad for people whose last conversations with their loved one was not a positive one
I’m enjoying this so far. I knew the set up was going to be a little sad but now I feel like the story will definitely be more on the fun side which I’m looking forward to
I’m willing to accept a lot but not this. this storyline was a little much. too many wtf moments. Even a thousand Zuko redemption arcs could not save this ml for me. had to drop after episode 61
This started out strong but kinda lost momentum in the end. I liked the FL’s vibe in the first episode, the way she took down all those guys in the hospital, I wish we would have seen more of that side later too. also the transition from enemies to lovers could have been smoother in my opinion. with a f tweaks this could have been much much better
First of all, I will shamelessly confess that I decided to watch this mostly because of the eye candy😍 the leading 3 male characters 😍😍😍 but also the president (I never hated him lol, I mean look at that face😅). Even the other serious guy that was friends with the president😍 ok let me calm down. I ofcourse loved the fl too
I enjoyed the show for the most part. Usually dramas that involve a secret identity end up frustrating me when they drag the “secret identity” plot line. This drama was actually fun to watch because there were a lot of different interesting characters. Her time as Wen Bin was actually interesting. It was less about romance and more about brotherhood and friendship which I enjoyed very much. I watched it for romance but I wasn’t disappointed that it wasn’t romance heavy. The character of Yue Xuan stole the show for me, he was probably the most interesting character to me. I liked most of the scholars too and I liked the dynamic among the trio of Wen Bin, Cheng Jun and Lei Ze Xin. However for a show that invested in showing all these relationships the fl was building with different characters while being disguised as a man, I was quite disappointed with the ending. The ending wasn’t bad per se but I just felt it was a little too rushed. What happened in the year that they skipped with the time jump? What happened to the president and other characters? I know her revealing her identity as a woman would have most probably landed her in a lot of trouble but I just wanted to see how the teachers and scholars would have reacted to finding out she was a girl. I wanted to see the look on the president’s face. Even the reaction of her closest friends was kind meh. I understand that they found out early on but I just expected more. A better ending (albeit unrealistic but this is a drama so who cares) would have been everyone finding out she’s woman, ofcourse she would get in trouble a little bit but maybe she would then go to court, explain why she did what she did, prove that women too are capable of being scholars, receive a royal pardon on account of her contributions and be remembered as a legendary woman. I just feel like the way they explained the real Wen Bin taking over her identity was just not satisfactory to me. Don’t get me wrong though, I enjoyed the drama and I’m looking forward to seeing this cp in another drama.
omg that last scene. I just know there’s some kind of misunderstanding😅 I’ve played this games before 🙊 I’m really enjoying this. I hope they keep the momentum. it’s always a fun watch
just finished episode 34 and I just wanted to say, I would usually find this type of show to be boring but I’m fascinated by it somehow. props to the leads who have both done such a good job. I love how mature and healthy their relationship is and I like the other themes explored
This was cute but also one of the most frustrating dramas ever. I have a love-hate relationship with the fl in particular. Like omg grow a pair. I was hoping in the end we would see some growth and she would be the one to confess but no we didn’t get that. she was pining for the second ml for the majority of the show. it was cute at first but then after a while it was extremely frustrating. in the end there was barely enough time for us to experience the leads as a couple. we didn’t even get to see their parents’ reaction. 36 episodes and they didn’t have time for that? I hate it when dramas waste time on useless plot lines and end up not having time to wrap things up. I sound like a real hater but the thing is I was actually enjoying this drama. it was really emotional especially at the start, I even shed a few tears but the way they handled the main romance plot left a lot to be desired. if handled correctly, this could have been one of the best coming of age dramas
