I was looking at their Douyin and weibo but it doesn't seem like they broke up.....
Did Ma and Susu really broke up? I feel bad of reading these news. They only lasted 6 months together, I had so high hopes for them both. Tell it is a lie :,(
I keep coming across clips of this show on my TikTok feedāwould you say itās worth watching?
If you haven't watched it yet, try watching - SO In Love, there is a couple there you gonna love too, and they are still together untill this day. The show starts slow, but it gets better as they get to know each other. One of the best I've watched aswell.
Why is this show so similar to live and love? šš
In China, format similarities between shows are more common. Itās not handled the same way as in the West, where licensing and copyright protections for show formats are usually stricter. Production companies are often hired by different platforms to develop variety or dating shows. So if the same production company works with platforms like Tencent Video and Youku, you can end up with very similar-style shows airing on different platforms.
GUYS THEY DID NOT BREAK UP I JUST CHECKED THEIR DOUYIN I WAS SO SCARED LMAOOO
Love Actually Season 4 is pretty good. Twinkle Love is also good ā I think I watched Season 4. I didnāt like Live and Love Season 2. Season 1 is basically the same as Love Wins All ā you can see a lot of the same elements there. Iād also recommend Heart Signal Season 7.

I recommend:
So In love (very good imo) Relationship S6 (Also goes by the name 'Let's Fall In Love, can find on youtube) Secrets in Love (Even though I don't like it, somebody will)
If you like this Drama, look up Liang Tian (Eliza Liang). She also participated in the Chinese dating reality show Love Actually Season 4 in 2025. I had thought she only worked in television, not as an actress, so that was a surprise. After the reality show, she even has a new drama listed as TBA. Sheās actually gotten prettier as sheās gotten older. In the dating reality show she ends up with a guy who is 8 years younger than she is
If you like this Drama, look up Liang Tian (Eliza Liang) āshe joins in episode 4. She also participated in the Chinese dating reality show Love Actually Season 4 in 2025. This show is perfect. The acting, production, story, and cast are all top-notch. Another outstanding performance by Qin Junjieāheās been one of my favorite actors for a long time, and he never disappoints. Itās not your typical āCEO falls in love with a Cinderellaā story, which might explain why the rating is so low. But if you enjoy crime investigation dramas, this is truly one of the best productions out there. Itās so well-crafted that youād think it came straight out of Hollywoodāthrilling, gripping, and always keeping you hooked, eager to see what happens next. And yet, itās 100% Chinese, with an incredible production. I take my hat off to the creators of this drama, especially the writers.
Iām on episode 11, and I find Chen Ki Xi so annoying! I donāt know if itās the way she says āčå ¬ā…
You mean sheās Chinese from Taiwanāthatās what you were trying to say, right? Anyway, I donāt find her annoying. But then again, Iām not Chinese, so I canāt really judge her accent. Personally, I think sheās a better friend than Luo Man.
I actually started watching this show because of Gao Ye, who plays Luo Man. But the character herself? Even though sheās supposed to be a screenwriter, she has a pretty shallow understanding of things. She constantly misinterprets her friendās actions, and that ends up creating unnecessary drama between the two.
Culturally speaking, itās not hard to see why many Chinese women feel trapped in their marriages. Thatās often why they tolerate infidelityāeven when it hurts. The culture still holds women back in a lot of ways. Many men still expect women to handle the house and raise the kids, while they do whatever they want. Just look at what men typically want in a woman: someone who can cook, clean, and take care of everythingābasically, a maid. Thatās why so many career-driven women in China stay single, especially in major cities like Shanghai. Most of them have zero interest in getting married under those conditions.
Iām glad she was very successful in her career in the endāshe truly deserves it. However, I didnāt like that she ended up alone. At first, I disliked the male lead for many episodes (almost half the series), but I think he showed a lot of growth over time. That said, I understand her choice to remain single, given societal expectations about her age.
It feels like people in China are too quick to judge, especially when it comes to age gaps in relationships. Thereās so much pressure for everything to be seriousāitās as if she canāt even enjoy herself a little at her age.
I usually donāt like the endings of most Chinese dramas; there are only a few Iāve truly enjoyed. This one was mostly great, but the ending was just a 7/10 for me.
It was easy to watch, but like any other Chinese drama. It is about a CEO. lol 99% of chinese dramas are about CEOS so that might represent their society of 99% CEOs ina population of 1.4 billion people.
Well its a wow from me. I knew Betty Sun was a good actress, but she is amazing in this, she can be funny, calculating…
I didn't know her untill I watch this show and I have to say, she is amazing. It has been a while to see a chinese drama that I like 100%. I like the actors, the production, music, writing, etc. They really did well with this one, I am impressed.
Yeah WY and XZ are not right for eachother and don't these writers dare to reunite them when XZ has made it....like…
agree with most of what you said, except for the part about WY accepting him at his worst. The truth is, he took her for granted over and over again. When he says things like "At least I have you" or "I'm lucky to have you," heās basically dumping all the emotional and financial responsibility on her without ever really thinking about how she feels.
She borrowed money from her parents multiple times just to support him ā and her parents were even willing to do more. But thatās not something she can keep doing forever, especially when all he does is mess things up and rely on her to clean up the pieces.
And with ML, he treated her poorly too, even though sheās done nothing but help him. He took her support for granted as well, and didnāt even care about breaking their deal ā knowing full well she needs that money to support her child.
He never thinks about anyone but himself. Honestly, WY deserves someone so much better, even if he eventually gets his act together. And no ā I donāt think that guy she had dinner with is the right one either.
This latest ep. just explains why I have been struggling to warm up to Xiao Zhou. XZ is self absorbed and whether…
She actually says it in episode 17. She tells him he only thinks about himself ā that heās self-centered and selfish. And honestly, I totally agree with you. I donāt think he ever deserved her. That kind of guy is just exhausting.
I donāt really see a resemblance in their ānerdinessā either. What I do see is that both men are weak and overly dependent on her. Iām glad she left her ex ā he truly didnāt deserve her. And if the writers are planning to make something happen between XZ and the FL, he seriously needs to step up. She doesnāt need another failure of a husband. š

The rich boy isn't that good for her. I don't think that relationship will work.
And he is to blame for this relationship not work.
