Great start, mediocre ending

I enjoyed most of this drama, but it wasn't particularly thought-provoking. It had good production, and I liked how each dish cooked by cook Yeong was highlighted in its own episode with its own mini plot. Overall, I feel it fell apart towards the end, as it focused too much on wrapping up the story, and a lot of it felt really rushed. The Ming cooking competition was easily the best part of this series, and it's worth a watch for that, just don't feel obligated to finish it.

Poorly written romance, but not terrible overall

This might be controversial, but I think the romance was the worst part of the whole series. That doesn't mean it's not worth watching, but if you're looking for something with a well written romance plot, this is not it. The relationship felt weird and toxic the whole time up until the second half of the last episode; and maybe that was the point, but it still left me thinking "wow I want to see more of " and then I'd have to sit through another 5 minutes of "Luke and Flora failing to communicate" being introduced as a major plot-point.

In addition, I'd like to call out the obviously AI generated b-roll shots that appeared in nearly every episode, it made the whole thing feel cheap.
