this is likely one of the few times I’d prefer the fl with the second lead since she and the ml treat each other and behave in such a way they shouldn’t really be together. also I’m past the point of either view each other as siblings or decide to be in love even if you’re not acting on the feelings yet. they can be siblings to others but it’s not great when they’re flipping back and forth with each other in private. it’s similar to a problem I had with sniper butterfly

I had anticipated it and while it did live up in some ways it did lose the sauce once yungao and haixia rarely had screen time. it also played fast and loose with many elements which I didn’t love.
