I'm confused!!
OK, great looking actors-actresses, greater kisses when both parties consent, greatest "Imma the the sigma-alpha hero" scenes. OK, I get it. But, excuse me for being so serious about a Chinese drama - WHEN WILL CHINESE DRAMA STORIES STOP ROMANTICIZING FORCED KISSES?? Bro, I understand that you understand that she doesn't understand her desires. BUT, NO is a NO, YOU GET IT?! CONSENT is a thing, YOU GET IT?! Dear Chinese drama plotmakers, please stop romanticizing forced kisses, or TRY PUTTING MORE SLAPS BY FEMALE LEADS if you can't help but put forced kisses scenes. Again, forgive me for my rant; I couldn't help this time either.Was this review helpful to you?
Oh the acting!
Though the story is the chinese version of any classic indian-soap-opera, THE ACTING, O MY GAWWWWWD!!!! Even the deliveryman delivering top-notch acting, let alone the main leads!!!! FREAKING LOVED EVERYONE'S ACTING!! The chemistry among the characters & the detailed story of each character were superb as well. I don't generally rewatch things, but maybe will go back someday on youtube for xu nuo-shen jiahe edits!! Very good melodrama & recommended to anyone who wants melodramatic-romantic entertainment!!Was this review helpful to you?

A new perspective to fan-favourite K-pop world!
I call myself an avid fan of K-pop. As I finished watching this title, I think my perspective to K-pop will change for the better. The sufferings the trainees, the new groups & the groups who aren't considered "famous" go through; the always-controversial K-pop scandals; the misery the idols face because of their popularity & saseng fans- these are actually quite important topics for the entertainment industry and for the people who love music (K-pop, specially). This drama depicts all of these & more topics like these very beautifully. Also, though Eunjo-Annie's story couldn't see its happy ending, to me, they are the definition of true love- "fulfilling your dream, as I lived but you couldn't". Thanks to the people who made this drama happen and recommended to anyone who want a new perspective to the seemingly bright K-pop world.Was this review helpful to you?

Congratulations to TBT for breaking C-drama stereotypes!
From where do I even start?! First of all, GUYZ, domineering CEOs do NOT always win, male leads do NOT always need to be on their knees to express their love towards female leads & female leads CAN take the bold first steps, whether it's kissing, proposing or gifting a ring!! Thanks to "The Best Thing", for making these things clear like pure water!! Surprisingly, this drama talks about many real-life situations 100% realistically & solves them beautifully as well. I also loved the pieces of information about traditional Chinese medicine. I'm now interested in TCM, tbh! Also, not all the time, people need to sacrifice something big like their long-cherished dreams to get their better half- thank you for reminding this to us, dear plotmakers. We tend to forget that happiness DOES exist without any big sacrifice, thanks to the over-unrealistic BlingBling dramas we watch all the time! However, this drama is a solid 10 on 10, wait, 100 on 10! And, it's recommended to anyone who wants to feel good & watch a realistic romance series! Tears flow as i write this...
WHAT A DRAMA! I mean, WHAAAT A DRAAAMAAA!!!It's been so long since I've felt so overwhelmed & happy & satisfied after watching a drama series. But it was so very totally totally TOTALLY worth it! T.T
As for context, I've never been a fan of Chinese historical dramas, so I was quite unsure about whether or not I should give it a go. Of course, good reviews led me there & now I just don't wanna let it go! It's the type of drama that lingers in your heart & your mind for a long, long time because of the astonishing charm it leaves on you. Everything else feels sour because you just finished watching one of the greatest dramas out there! T.T
To leave a review for this, I don't actually know how to express my feelings about it verbally, but I can at least try! For the story, the fact that plot makers portrayed a woman as a brave hero of that ancient time- truly so freaking amazing! The chemistry among the characters- *chef's kiss*! About the cast- OMGEEEEEEEEE, I WANNA EAT THE MALE LEAD SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can a person be SO FUCKING HOT & HANDSOME & BEAUTIFULLY IN CHARACTER at the same time?! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ The female lead is so cute as well, even the second and third lead couples- *chef's kiss*! It can be said without a doubt that this drama has one of the few BESTEST c-drama casts so far. For the music, so soothing, so heart-touching!!! *immediately changes ringtone to "I tread carefully with fate" T.T*
At this moment, idk how long it will take me to get over the lingering feeling this drama left on me, but I wanna keep going back again & again & again T.T T.T T.T !!! THANKS to everyone who made this drama possible. Forever grateful to you guys for this! T.T 💘

A 99% unique chinese romance drama
Oh my! After seeing about 10 episodes, I got to know that this drama is a sequal of Hidden Love. Then, everything clicked for me!! A very very VERY good plotline which can be 100% relatable for us girls, soothing visual, background music which sounded like lullaby to me, beautiful acting, specially, a big shoutout to jingting bai, for his VERY MUCH DETAILED ACTING as sang yan [the little trembling while kissing-having passionate moments-proposing!!!!!!!!!!!ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜]- these things got me in tears-shock-awe-butterflies many times while watching this drama. Also, who doesn't want a bestie like siqiao?! ðŸ˜ðŸ’˜ A very beautiful chinese drama I got to watch after many many many days. Thanks to the whole team for this.Was this review helpful to you?
