I respect your opinion. The thing is HMH was the first to sign and it is impossible to break once signed. She was signed later. Technically he wouldn't have known until she was signed. But safe to say her agency had a huge role in pushing her toward mainstream or playing certain characters. She turns 18 tomorrow tho. I hope she can stop getting hate once she turns. She is still young nontheless.

Indeed, I don't get why. Child actresses eventually transitioning into mainstream is not new. Take our icon liu yifei for example, she was 16 when she had her first romance drama/movie. But nobody is ready to have that convo. As long as there are no kiss scenes, the actors/actresses should be given chance for their professional competency. (No hate to anyone btw)

To all the people skipping this drama, you are missing out on such a gem. I unnderstand the concerns that many netizens have about Aimi being underage. But honestly her professional competancy and ability to create such chemistry is just amazing. Also many netizens are quite hypocritical, this is not her first time playing the romantic trope. She has done so in Love of the divine tree and Fangs of Fortune. Ppl didn't have much of an issue back then because both were secondary characters. Now because she is acting the same trope with a mainstream actor. they're trying to boycott. Honestly, 6 eps in and wanna say both HMH and Aimi have done a fantastic job. The direction, styling and storyline are awesome.

Crazy how its portrayed that Xie yanfeng failed cause he sees Chu Zhao as special. I mean there was plenty of confliction with the fact that he was trying to hunt her down DEAD or alive after she poisoned him🤔 yet he still likes her????

I dunno why, but in ep 21 I kinda see the chemistry between Chu Zhao and Xie Yanfeng. Might be true. Might be false. The next ep will reveal it 😆

So it’s Airing on August 18!!!!! Can’t wait !!
