a pilot and a Trailor are different a pilot tells the what the story is going to be about its basically a summary of what's going to happen, and introduction of the character and like the dept or tone of it yk, but a Trailor is just sum key points that happened in the story not the plot just like sum highlights so it won't show a lot of things that happened in the pilot oh and what you called the original trailer is called a pilot so you won't be confused
