I don’t think he did send her flowers. He got them to give to her but his friend took them. the flowers sent were from her roommate.

so the timeframe between episode five and 11 is a little bit confusing and please correct me if I’m wrong I had originally thought it was a year as well but somebody else clarified since we saw two birthdays that actually it was her one birthday and the year is only 2013. They celebrated it twice since the other roommate was out of town so I think this is still all within a couple months timeframe but regardless I agree there should be some more discussion and clarification between them.

100%. I feel like everybody’s giving him flack for his behavior however she is even more wishy-washy. He might not be communicating clearly, but she can’t clearly decides the type of relationship she wants with him. She keeps vacillating between just a physical relationship and wanting more and yet she keeps pushing him away. I think it’s more on her honestly.

I think that’s kind of the point. Their physical attraction and chemistry is so intense that it’s difficult for them to interact Beyond that, especially when they have to suppress that the majority of the time. I think he’s very guarded emotionally because of his position and so is she because of hers, especially being vulnerable (boss-subordinate.. she could be terminated at any time). He set the precedence at the beginning— stating that this was meant to only be a physical Situationship— she’s holding him to his word. I think, ideally, if they were to get to know eachither, really communicate and open up emotionally there would be more progress in their relationship, but I think they both have too many walls up, which is what will end up leading to their eventual break up.

I really liked the flashback components that gave more background to agent Kim. I just wish they gave us a little more details about his wife. I know they don’t want to turn this into a romantic tragedy, but I think it could explain a little bit more of a motivating factor . I’m saying just even five minutes of flashback would suffice. I feel like the only thing we got was her dying on the surgery room table nothing about who she was or how they met. I think it would explain his relationship with his daughter a little bit better too . also, did I miss what happened with the other North Korean agent the original 66’s brother? I saw him lurking around, but then I didn’t see him come back at all this episode. I just feel like they could’ve taken this to another level, much deeper, but they chose to make it redundant and shallow.
