too toxic with nonsense storyline
it took me a while to watch all of it because of how toxic it was. it made no sense for yi cheng to keep going back to Lu feng because of how abusive mentally and physically Lu feng was. I get that Lu feng was bipolar and traumatized, but I think the director could’ve framed the story in a better way. instead of a BL romance drama, it should’ve been framed as a psychological one with different directing. like Burnout Syndrome. this over the top abuse is not my cup of tea and I frequently skipped over parts of the entire series because it was almost cringey to watch.Was this review helpful to you?
wouldn’t really recommend
the story is good up until episode 14 which is where I stopped even though the plot hasn’t been completed yet. I feel like they dragged on each episode too much and probably could’ve ended it within 18 episodes. the acting is good and of course I love Lin Yi and Esther, but I had a hard time coming back to the series to finish it. I can also kind of see where the plot is going so I don’t need to watch it to know what will happen at the end. overall it’s not a bad series and a lot of people probably like it, but it wasn’t one for me.Was this review helpful to you?
Was not expecting it to be this good
I came across a reel which made me want to watch it. I didn’t know there was only two episodes, but I’m glad they didn’t drag it out. It’s good enough with just two episodes since they’re longer and they get the whole story line across. At first it did feel kind of rushed, but some things that happened were quick pieces character development that didn’t need a whole ten episodes that most dramas do. I didn’t care for the OST but the acting and story is really good! Definitely a worthwhile watch!Was this review helpful to you?
