I have a few questions, I was really wondering about this;1. Theyβve been together for 10 years so why are they…
1. they're not married, doesn't need to live together. in asia, living together is not that common though people nowadays start doing it.
2. i think mostly in asia, people are like this. we didn't trained to speak our mind. speak our mind means you talk back (to parents), we got disciplined not by word or loving act (at least that's how my and how many friends world build, my parents are chinese). that's why most of the problem usually are communication, and how we can express our feeling.
3. i'm married, yes, natural spark are not always there. but it can always be work on and sometimes you got more than just a spark, you got devotion. for cheating, i think it depends on people, do they accept their reality or not. for me, if only looking for spark, why bother to date or marry, you'll always get bored anyway. with your partner, you're not building just sparks, you're building long peaceful life with them.
though in the drama, being burden seem to be the case. the judgment from the society, like you should do this and that or you should be someone as standard says, sometimes it feel hard and questionable.
i like the first episode already(?) the color grading make it really aesthetically pleasing and ahn eun jin look pretty here.
for the plot, it's just a common plot, but truthfully, i believe many people will feel related. i've been there, rejecting a 'perfect' man because i'm just too tired with my life, instead of keep going to be his equal, i just want to stop and breath.
so, hoping next episodes can also deliver it well. finger crossed!
To the people who have already watched this ,I am not a very romance person , I barely watch the content so is…
it is very romantic series, but not in cheap usual romance story. i'm also not a romantic person, so i find this series suitable for me. they not trying hard to push the fan service thing. the style of the production i find it more like western type of writing (maybe because it's gwtw adaptation?) realistic but not that realistic. just not typical kdrama romance series.
just as the comment above me, it's epic love story. it's the only kdrama series that makes me rewatch again and again (i'm not a fan of asian drama)
Back in my school days.. drama can only be watch on tv, sometimes 1 episode will be cut into 2 part, 1 part for a day episode, with unskipable long ad.
sometimes it's right on time, sometimes it's late, but if you miss it, then you need to engage conversation with friend in school to know what you're missing..
watching dramas on my mobile gadget, anytime i want, with no ads, 2 ep per day was such blessing πππ
this is something that i've been thinking about. a lot of cdrama after 2020ish era, use english language song…
if you listen and understand mandarin song, many of them use a very poetical lyric even in modern song. i do think they make the song lyric like they make mandarin song and rather make it grammatically correct, they make it phonetically sounds good (?) imho though, don't take it as fact..
Loving the drama so far!I need some clarification on something totally unrelated though - - why are some of the…
this is something that i've been thinking about. a lot of cdrama after 2020ish era, use english language song as ost. i think because it's popular and cooler that way? though i'm a bit sad, because i wanna hear more mandarin song. i have some theory but rather keep it to myself.
if you watch popular drama like hidden love, amidst snowstorm, etc.. they use lot of english lyrics ost
Novel readers, will they take time in dating or will they get married soon after dating? How old will they be…
in the novel it's end before they got married, so we have no idea. but obviously in some bts for the show, they look like they have children, so it's going to be different
I just want character& plot understnding So the novel readers can explain to me clearly Y was yusen mixing…
because in the novel, ML got the invitation from the FL, he disappointed when the FL doesn't even show up when he's in recovery and worse, she doesn't remember him at all. in his mind, he go there because fl invitation, got into accident that ruin his career, and she doesn't show remorse and forget about him. and why fl doesn't remember him, because the one who invite ml is not her. ml's friend misinformed ml. the fl doesn't even know ml at that time.
also in the novel, there's some scene, that he insist to keep her in hospital longer Β±10days. he use his card as a medical expert to make her stay longer. he just want make her secure and safe, or at least in the best care.
just wanted to ask book readers why ML seems to have a bad opinion of FL in early episodes although in episode…
misunderstanding. ML excited to see her because he think their feeling are mutual, got into accident, ruin his life as surgeon. the FL never visit him in hospital, doesn't show remorse, worse, she doesn't even remember him. the thing is, his friend inform him the wrong Nie's daughter, the one who ML's friend mention is not FL at all. that's why FL really clueless about him.
i don't understand some people complain about the boring part.. i mean other popular series for example, love ambition, have very long context introduction, and i even surprised that it's romcom, i thought it's serious drama at first. other very popular cdrama with high rate usually have slow start.
i mean, even though i'm new to cdrama, i can understand that it's the pattern (?) it's slow but if you continue you'll feel like it's fulfilling (?) it's not like kdrama that do the roller coaster emotion, and exhausted after watching (though it's great as well)
i just feel like, just take your time watching cdrama, enjoy it, savor it.. i can even work while watching cdrama, but with kdrama, nope..
