I donāt think the authorities should have stopped at a public apology etc. Everyone knows that the Chinese netizens are among the most toxic when trolling so they should have thrown the book at him and made an example of him. Perhaps it might deter others from being so nasty towards actors who, at the end of the day, are people just doing this job and living their lives as best they can under a magnifying glass
Unfortunately Meteor Garden left Netflix in the US so I havenāt been able to watch it anywhere. I discovered…
I found it on the UKās YouTube channel ākk cdramaā. Unfortunately (probably due to copyright issues) whole chunks have no sound which is maddening. Hope you find a version you can watch in the US. I thoroughly enjoyed it
Heās so busy that I hope heās getting down time to do stuff for himself. I understand there are enormous numbers of extremely talented young people in Thailand and South Korea for whom the price of fame is too high and they self exit due to pressure created by doing too much. Iāve just watched KinnPorsche in which he was fabulous and I hope to see him in lots more in the future
I donāt know who Xu Kai upset but the accusations (which seem to be proven to be false so far) just keep coming - I just hope he has a good team behind him to keep him strong. Unfortunately once one thing is thrown at him, others seem to think itās a āno smoke without fireā situation and that he must be guilty of something. Looking at his absurdly busy schedule I canāt help but wonder when heās supposed to have found the time to set a gambling den up š¤·š¼āāļø. Here in the UK there are a lot of very well known celebrities that spend hours gambling whether it be horses, cards or cr*ps and yet no one attacks them the way Xu Kai has been. As far as Iām concerned what goes on behind closed doors, as longs as it isnāt hurting anyone, should be no one elseās business. (That said, if he has an addiction I hope he gets the help he needs to kick it). But seriously, people need to get different hobbies other than trying to tear people down to their own levels
Wow, this lovely lady has been through so much and yet still doesnāt complain! I hope, if you ever read this, that you realise what an incredibly talented actor and overall human being you are and I wish you all the best for the future. Just remember to put yourself first sometimes too!
