I just finished The guest and king of pigs...what should I watch next? Is seoul busters is at the level the other…
Sure, will try it. I went for My perfect stranger instead. I liked it although there were few loopholes...I shared my feedback in comment section of the drama page.
I really enjoyed this show, almost a masterpiece for me.I'll explain in the comment below why I used "Almost"
Everything was perfect until the last 3 episodes. I kinda guessed the killer from the start and when the killer turns out to be the same person, it doesn't feel satisfying to me and I kinda start losing interest.
The FL's family story was written really well, but ML's family story was lacking, as if the writer had switched.
The killer's motive behind all these murders was too basic. His mother was busy reading and didn't give him affection so he started to kill random people who like to read...whatttt
Then why would the killer kill his own son (ML) in the future and also the FL's mother? Maybe he killed FL's mother because he couldn't kill her before and was caught but why did he take so many years to kill her even when she gave up reading and writing? Again the drama didn't give us a reason why the killer would try to kill his own son.
We didn't get to know how ML was saved and who saved him and how ML didn't figure out that he wasn't killed. What was the loophole ML's son talked about
ML told that detective and his grandpa about the reality but couldn't tell his mother lol who left her running business and everything bcz of his father also her dream of loving her child like seriously??? I was happy when he went back to her, I was hopeful that he will tell her that she doesn't need to abandon her child as he won't turn out to be like his father but he zipped his mouth. And this was the moment that broke me. He could have told her the truth so that he could live with her mother and she wouldn't be left alone missing her child but not being able to own him
The detective in this show was the most useless person ever, why did they even have him
Loved it, it is such an underrated show that literally makes you start rooting for the killer. In the comment…
I loved everything about the show except them making jongsuk a hero at the end. Kyng min was shown as a murderer at the end which wasn't the whole truth. I HATE that female detective so much, in the whole show she kept saying I don't trust anyone, as if you are thrustworthy. You do everything your way, you don't involve others bcz you know they might reveal what you wanna hide. She knew everything still turned blind eye resulting in making jongsuk a hero bcz of whom everything started.
I wanted female detective to at least tell the truth to chul's mother and explaining her that kyung min did all this to avenge chul and that she should accept the money he gave but she just give her the diary and left.
I just didn't get one thing: did kyung min maintained 2 diaries as 1 was with female decetive and other he gave to the reporter. In that case the reporter also knew about the truth then why didn't he mention jongsuk's name in the article ?
After seeing King of Pigs, I wanted to see more of Kim Dong-wook's work, choosing this one was the best decision.…
I was kinda suspecting the priest yang from the start and when they showed that he is Park II do, I almost gave up on the show as It was too obvious although I kept guessing between him, hwa pyeong dad and grandpa but priest was always my first suspect. But thank God I kept going until real Park II do was revealed. The whole journey was amazing. Loved it!!
After seeing King of Pigs, I wanted to see more of Kim Dong-wook's work, choosing this one was the best decision. It felt slow at the start but it kept getting better and better. In the middle, when the 'Who is Park II Do? ' game started, at one point I felt disappointed (which I'll share in my comment below) but the way they pulled it was PEAK. Loved the plot twist and their trio.
Yeah, I read many comments about it. Tbh this doesn't matter LJS is famous than the whole cast, it is just he…
Yes, I am sure of it. His all dramas are hit, even a drama like Law and the city, did well, which isn't everyone's cup of tea. Any ideas when they will release it?
I can’t believe I have to witness a billing fan war in a K-drama. Guys, please leave that thing in C-drama.And…
Yeah, I read many comments about it. Tbh this doesn't matter LJS is famous than the whole cast, it is just he isn't doing many dramas these day so people new to kdramas don't know him that well. I hope he accepts the paradise drama offer that he got so that we get to watch his 2 dramas in 2027 and this one in this year. I miss him He has international fanbase and I'm sure they will back him up
I really didn’t like the female lead at all. She’s selfish and treats people according to her moodshe wants…
Yes, I just finished this drama and shared my review in the comment above and I agree with you. I feel bad for both Tae Yang and Sa gaye. She didn't do anything for either of them and had teary eyes all the time like she was the victim. Sa gaye proved to be a better friend to Tae than she was.
It is fun drama to watch, mystery part was good but the ending didn't work for me at all. It felt rushed and not satisfying. I want Sa Gye to make a comeback at the end after suffering in the whole drama, the FL kept saying she would produce him but abandoned him for 2 years. She made her career in these 2 years but what about Sa Gye, who did whatever he could to protect her and to expose her mother's murderers. FL knew about SML's feelings from the start but still didn't stop him from the beginning and only said no when he mustered up the courage to confess. I wanted to see more about drummer, I had so many questions like who his father is, why he was hiding his identity and also was waiting to see the reaction of others when they come to know about him being rich. Also I wanted to know about the person who said no one heard from Sa Gye in this whole time, not even me his last fan in the last epsiode when he went missing.
I enjoyed the start that's why the ending pisses me off. I hope next time the writer does better
First of all, if IU’s character felt cringe to you, that only means IU acted so well that she brought the character…
Actually there are 2 factors People have seen her doing serious roles back to back, even in hotel del luna her character was layered..they just can't see her in romcom, they are too used to it now. Director himself said that he asked her to act that way, after seeing her act in my mister people still question her acting lol.
The other factor is this drama reminds of 2016 romcoms, now when you'll try to see them at some point you'll find them cringe and cliche. Let me quote an example when I watched W about 5 to 6 years back I enjoyed it a lot but now when last year I tried watching it again I didn't feel the same although it was quite unique when it got released.
So sometimes the issue isn't with the drama or acting its about timing and mood.

In the comment below, I have mentioned the things that bothered me and one question I would appreciate an answer to.
