Yes seriously, if it had a more popular lead, drama's popularity would have skyrocketed. Idk why people people sleep on such beautiful dramas bcz of less popular cast ( Ik lee sung kyung is popular but still). The perfect example would be boyfriend on demand, how bcz of Jisoo it became a hot topic although the story and acting was meh.

The writer is a rookie but then why did IU choose the script knowing the script is coming from a rookie writer? Also Actor IU can't choose a bad script at this point, as her drama's success affects Singer IU too. Her acting career has increased her fanbase overseas so there must be something in the script that sparked and captivated her eyes. I feel like rookies are the most enthusiastic as they have to prove themselves and also have fresh ideas so I'm hoping that will be the case here.
