So sheβs supposed to be in her early 20s and heβs in his late 20s when they first get together...Then they…
Exactly!! I feel so annoyed by this as well they've wasted 10 years on this relationship for teen-agers drama...like 6years to accept each other as bf and gf and 4 years to understand that they love eachother. My god they're adults! I'm like finish it after 3 years if it takes that much effort to just "communicate" you're adults. But I can't say I haven't indulged in this "teen" relationship like my life depends on it π
You know what, I actually think itβs fine that theyβve kept Flora the same. imo, It just means now that show…
They're mostly showing Luke as the giver and Flora as the receiver so everyone's seeing as Flora as the one not invested in this relationship as Luke which is unfair....in real life having a relationship with Luke will be a nightmare cuz we as viewers can see Luke's hidden actions and reactions but Flora cannot whenever he is jealous he's only saying means things to her and not properly explaining why he's upset what he wants her to do what he doesn't want her to do....yes Flora is flawed too she keeps things buried as it is doesn't really be honest with her feelings with Luke lacks communication. What I don't like is why everywhere every comment is condemning the female lead and praising the male lead. Jing Boran himself said in real life he would block Luke immediately π. While everyone's saying Luke is a green flag Flora is a red flag. They're relationship is toxic and exhausting now so I want them to break up, grow as individual and then find each other again, but I also don't want them to say mean and hurtful things each other especially the things Luke said in the novel. this is exactly why I'm loving and hating this drama at the same time π
I have such a love and hate relationship with this drama...I love the fact they've made Luke different from the novel and I hate the fact they've kept rest of the situation and Flora the same....in the novel her reactions were a response to his actions.... they've established in the drama that they're bf and gf in the drama so obviously it's gonna see as a red flag when Flora is on a dating app and her having doubts about this relationship whereas in the novel they did not have any label to their relationship they were only FWB. I like that they've improved Luke's character in the drama but hate it that Flora is getting a lot of hate from the fans who never read the novel....if they only know how toxic and sh*tty Luke's thought is in the novel it would've been an entirely different scenario
I think Flora told these about thought to Luke cuz now she wants to see a future with him so they can go in that…
the way their relationship has started 4 years doesn't give her the assurance that she'll be the last love of his life. She knows he doesn't like girls being clingy and she wants to be independent on her own as well still she should've relied on him on some situations as he's her bf but honestly if I were in this relationship I would also feel like walking on eggshells the whole time of the relationship as whenever the bf gets angry he insults and just talks sh*t...this kind of attitude only feels attractive when it's in drama and the male lead is attractive, she tried to express her feelings toward him by saying what she wants and look what he said instead
he's such a baby gosh. just a few conversations could've made everything better. I mean if youre in your fourth…
Being boss and bf at the same is what makes their relationship more toxic I feel like he becomes bossy when he's upset about something and loving when he feels like being a bf, this is why I hate power imbalance in a relationship I want to be in equal footing. TES reminds of those old powerful arrogant male lead and weak female lead type of kdrama
I don't even know what to say anymore. How can 2 people be THIS bad at communication? I think for Luke, his initial…
I think Flora told these about thought to Luke cuz now she wants to see a future with him so they can go in that direction and was now willing to be public about their relationship, she wanted to take that leap of faith but of course Luke opened his mouth, although Flora has been a bit problematic as well by not telling him about the dating app.
Novel Luke is actually really a jerk...I couldn't properly even finish the novel because of him even his inner…
I'm praying drama Luke doesn't say anymore mean and insulting things to Flora anymore than he did, I'm really trying to sperate drama and novel Luke and I want the redemption arc to be GOOD. But since it's already on ep 17 and they still didn't break up and it's only 24 episodes I'm assuming they're gonna rush the break up and reconciliation part
both the leads have their flaws that's for sure but yeah im not sure where this is going nowhow the break up is…
Novel Luke is actually really a jerk...I couldn't properly even finish the novel because of him even his inner monologues were so infuriating to me...he really took advantage of the fact that she liked her more than he liked her, to me his redemption arc felt like sh*t, felt like he only wanted to marry her cuz he was old all of his friends are married so why not settle with the doormat who tolerates his bullsh*t
I'm curious to see how their approach to relationships develops after the breakup or their character growth in…
I wanna see that too but I'm guessing they're gonna delay the break up part and not gonna show enough after their reconciliation since it's only 24 episodes
yeah and in the novel every time he sees her bruised face he becomes so unhinged and speeds down the highway recklessly…
The only reason I can tolerate watching this drama is cuz they made some difference from Novel Luke. He is insufferable like that no one would've swooned over him like everyone's doing about drama Luke
if any kind novel reader could answer my curiosity,,,,I heard in the drama the character luke was toned down from…
I would suggest not to read the novel and just keep watching the drama. I also tried to read the novel but my god novel Luke infuriated me so much...I stopped reading it immediately just so I can watch drama Luke as a different person
Actions speak louder than words but words hurt too... words of affirmation is absolutely needed in a relationship I believe, I really can't see him as a green flag, he wants to be public about their relationship when he can't even bother to wish his girlfriend happy new year or happy birthday, calling your girlfriend cheap and obedient...no matter how angry you are you can't say that to a person you care for, some words stay with you forever and make you loose confidence about yourself.
I am worrying about the same thing. It would have been so great if we could get 32 episodes or at least 28.
I'm holding out watching this entirely for just this reason (I'm just keeping myself updated by watching a few clips lol π)... I want the redemption arc to be really good only then can I invest myself into this drama
For a brief moment I saw a bts on online that both ml and FML are wearing maroon traditional clothes. I think that the grand prince did not die while being exile and he's the one who secretly saved Kang Dan Shim from poisoning
I loved him Sunset, secrets and regret he was such a green flag there π I can't see him as a red flag character π
