In episode 4 where the girl - Hong Jae In is looking at Choi instead of Kang, I did not understand what was so mesmerising. Kang was playing better than Choi. :| If the director/writers gonna try to show us that the talented one shines while the hard working one fades in the former's shadow, atleast make it LOOK that way!. You cannot mess up such scenes. It was hard to believe and almost laughable. They did a great job with the blindfold concert in ep3, Choi shining and Kang digging his own grave, even though Kang could have played just as well blindfolded.

Aside from this, both the MLs' have it so damn hard. I feel horrible for both. But more so for Kang, he has everything (I would say he is brilliant, he could be the best, but comparison has stolen all his joy forever) but has the worst people around him, trying to sink him to death, no matter how good he is. Whereas Choi has nothing but his talent is everything, but he is at the mercy of those who want to benefit off his talent, because he has no backing, which will cost him his closest one and maybe his life.

I love that in the trailer for the next episode, they both are wearing black. We know what that means.

Ahh. This is one of those shows where the book is so much better than the show. Because changing Luke's character by making him a green flag, doesn't add up to keeping Flora's character the exact same as in the book. Then her mannerisms, thoughts, reactions and conclusions do not make sense at all, and how she doesn't explain things to him. The story needs to be cohesive. Like the people said below, now she looks like the red flag throughout, but it makes no sense how a girl in love grows to be that way over the years and suddenly confesses that she wants to marry him. And, now that Luke said he doesn't want to get married and have kids (rightly so if you ask me, he is human too), it seems like it's all a result of her messing up left and right even though he loves her unconditionally and has always treated her right. *Facepalm*. So her leaving him because of the misunderstanding of the promotion episode will make not that much impact. Yes there is also the fact that she will suffer great loss. But ugh. The show has messed up. The feelings aren't strong enough to lead to most things. 🥲 It seems one sided. Maybe I am wrong. Everything is watered down.

And yes yes, the show is an experience of it's own. But it's difficult to watch (for me), when it seems like the FL has been made the bad guy. They should have changed both their characters equally to make good sense. Let me explain: 1+1=2, but in the show, 1+2 is also = 2. 🥴🫠

100% agree. He isolated his wife, while telling all his secrets to a stranger he befriended for over a year, then was planning to run away and meet his parents without her? And then takes his new friend instead to meet them? WTF. And finally, disappears for a year? Get lost bro. He is irresponsible and selfish.

TOO much drama and chaos. Why did Qingyu have to die man, isn't he a military head, how is anyone coming and the wedding as they like, 3 shooters present at the wedding? WTF? And why does ZLH get a shitty mother in every show. LOL. And I am tired of the FL not sharing anything with the ML, and causing infinite madness. Like atleast keep him in the loop or ask him to f*** off. It's really unwatchable. And it's obvious who the villain was since Huo Zong Qi met him in person before getting popped. 33 Episodes for this 'supposed to be a short drama' is crazy work. This could have easily be made into a great movie even with a few parts. But a show this long is unnecessary (IMO). I always complain about short shows, but this one is not one of those.

Guys, I have been watching this show for the second leads (Bu Shu Lin & Cui Jin Bai) , but the main leads are very pretty ofcourse. Acted very well too. Last entire week I skipped the whole episodes to get to their 1 or 2 scenes per episode. :') But the leads were acting well, so I watched some of the last episodes.

I need a WHOLE CDRAMA with these 2 actors in the same roles, from scratch. Loved BSL & CJB's story.
