I love all the dramas mentioned in this thread, but Deep Lurk definitely deserves a spot on the list too. It kept me hooked from start to finish, I paid close attention to every episode because I didn’t want to miss a single detail, lol.

Honestly, the only reason I can think of from the platform’s side is that they’re trying to gauge interest—like how many people in a certain region are actually planning to watch. That way, they can decide if it’s worth pushing or even showing there. I imagine hosting each drama still costs them something (servers, licensing, promotion), so this kind of “reservation” system helps them estimate demand ahead of time.

On the production side, it could also be a way to measure how popular a specific drama or its actors are. If a lot of people reserve or show interest, that’s a good signal they might want to invest more in similar projects or cast those actors again.

There are still a few broken subtitles in the later episodes, but they’re manageable—unlike MangoTV English subtitles, which even translate the characters’ names, making things pretty confusing.
