Lately, I’ve been obsessed with fantasy dramas, so when I decided to watch WAATH, I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it much. It’s a slice-of-life drama with a realistic setting, which is very different from what I usually watch. But somewhere along the way, I completely fell in love with it. The plot, themes, and messages are so beautiful that I found myself crying more than once. What makes this drama special is that it doesn’t rely on an overly handsome male lead or a glamorous, fashion-forward female lead. Instead, it gives us two deeply layered, realistic characters who understand each other’s pain. Through their relationship, they help each other grow, and their conversations are filled with meaning and emotional depth.

What impressed me even more was that it wasn’t just the main leads who were well-written. Every character in this drama felt carefully crafted, and their dialogues often read like poetry. Lately, many dramas seem to focus heavily on plot twists and spectacle while neglecting the emotional nuances that make stories truly memorable. This drama, however, explores feelings and struggles that we often find difficult to understand or express in our daily lives, and it does so with remarkable sensitivity. More than just entertaining me, it made me reflect on my own character and the way I view life. That’s something incredibly rare. Not many dramas leave you thinking about how to become a better person or encourage genuine self-reflection. This one did, and that’s why I completely fell in love with it.
