I'm quite worries abt Rebirth of Malicious Empress from Military Lineage. That novel is so long and beautiful. But drama doesn't even have 40 episodes!! It's crazy!!! So I'm quite worries abt the plot. I dunno what the heck they edited out. So I want to know, how much day does the original writer have.

Bro when is this coming out? It should not be delayed at all. Considering tian is at her peak popularity. They should cash it atleast!! I love the dual role. And the fact it's not a long drama is also good. I just hope it has and awesome plot.

Okay. I want to know one thing. Does the person who wrote the novel, has no say in it? Cuz nowadays, no matter how good the aesthetics, acting or videography is, in the end, it's the plot that makes the drama survive. I feel the real writer should have a say as to how much can be changed. How does it work in Chinese industry. The writers should work with scriptwriters.

Liking celebs is not a problem. Losing your composure and cursing others over it, is a problem. And yeah, y'all are so naive to believe everything you are shown. Guess you don't see the PR pattern. Just wait and watch, how FEMALES, flock to support him and his work. It's like women have no brain when they see a good looking guy. I honestly never even found him that good looking. He's okay. Yes, everyone has their own fav. But it doesn't mean you forget to differentiate between right and wrong just cuz of their looks. I'd see how the entertainment industry and the world would react, if a famous actor gets charged with same crime, but isn't handsome, isn't fit and doesn't fit Korean beauty standards. I'll to see the reaction, margin of error, all the excuses and even support that ppl will be ready to give.

I think it's very true for me. I also do have aversion to overrated things. That's why I don't join fandoms, stay away from any news or anything. And simply watch drama. But for some reason Mo Li advertisment are all over my yt with accnts posting community posts abt it repeatedly. So yeah.

100% agreed!! For example POJ. When I read the synopsis, it didn't really interest me. When I saw the hype I was like okay maybe it's the actors. But when I saw international hype, I checked it out, what grabbed my attention was the set. I loved the town. The videography and the plot execution. And definitely the actors, costumes everything was good. I think here they should work on their synopsis. Cuz drama was different from synopsis. Mo Li also I hope is different. Right now I just feel exhausted. I want something fresh and new.

I always watch based on plots. For example, there is this one drama that ppl in china are crazy abt. It was released a few years ago. And trust me I get the craze with aesthetics, OST, actors, costumes. But I literally fast forwarded majority of the middle episodes. Plot matters a lot. No hate to actors.
Here is Mo Li, Bai Lu is looking the most beautiful among all her past period dramas. I love the colors of her costumes. The dresses are so pretty. The light sea green and jade type colors. I think they are truly giving the impression she is a jade? I dunno. That's the vibe I'm getting. But I dunno why I can't feel the excitement I felt abt this drama when it was announced. I'm just kinda upset abt that.

I still remember when legend of the female general came out. And discovered Cheng Lei. I wanted him to work with Bai Lu & was ecstatic, couldn't wait for this drama. But for some reason, I'm not excited at all anymore. My craze has died abt these actors. I've just realized one thing. My craze abt actosr is actual not about "actor" but the character of the drama. That's why I still can't watch any drama if the plot is bad. I hope this drama has good plot and direction.

Exactly 😭. The novel is written so well, only author herself without any bias can decide and tell which actors match best with the characters.

Thank God someone understands me! I mean no disrespect to any Chinese actors here. But so far I haven't been able to see anyone who can fit these characters. After POJ, considering the "exceptional beauty" Xie Jing Xing, maybe Zhang Linghe can be considered, but can he match the aura? I'm not sure. That's the problem. I can't see aby actor, male or female, match the aura of Jing Xing & Shen Miao. The nobility they execute mixed with all the scheming and maliciousness. Bro I cant see that in any actor so far.

I know right! That's why I'm so upset. They are not even bothering with 40 episodes! What if they cut the part where she goes to Great Liang. Maybe they completely cut that and they become King and Queen here in Ming Qi. I dunno man. What's going on their heads. I never wanted drama made on this novel. I read this novel after reading Rebirth of Female Star General. Aka last year. And just found out today that drama was being made on it today. 😭 Not happy man. Not happy at all.

If that's the case I hope Tian Xiwei stays away from this drama. Because trust me, fans won't like this part of a character. And this will create unnecessary fanwars. Why? Multiple women means multiple ships. Multiples ships means catastrophe. I would rather that TXW stays away if actor wants to stick to the novel. Although it will make me sad cuz this is where i first saw her and loved her character and I was also quite upset when some fans said she's not worthy Dylan. But Dylan was very nice and supportive, and I don't blame actors for fan behavior. I liked their pairing. They were cute. But let's see what happens. I really wanted s2 of this drama. But didn't know the novel had this kinda thing. This harem thing is very disrespectful.

I dunno man. For the first time, I'm super upset abt a drama. Despite liking both actor's acting. I don't want this novel turned into drama. I know it will crash and burn. 36 eps? Definitely.

Not even in Pursuit of Jade? 😁 The ML hair was so silky, he just needed to strike a pose and say "L'Oreal, you're worth it" 😂. The face card was insanely gorgeous.

That's my main concern. I'd rather they don't make drama instead of ruining it. It's my fav novel and I re-read it to this day. Love it so much!!

I'm so worried abt the script of this drama. I cannot see these or any actor as shen Miao or Xie Jing Xing. They should never touch this novel. With 36 episodes they can never do justice to the novel. They have changed the word robe, mask. I'm already so upset!!! This is crazy!! This is no manner is questioning the actors! This is about the novel and doing justice to it. With 36 episodes and already doing major changes to it, I already see bad things. I'm sorry. Big fan base can only bring money but not the good critique.
