He literally built Shen's diner all over again just for her to find her way back to him one day 😭😭 And she watched him grow old waiting for her 😭 (double kill for my heart)
And the fact that once she gets back to her real world she also tell her family to create Shen's diner.
Their silent and unconditional love is on a whole other level !

The ending was perfect !! I don't understand why a lot of people complained about it. It amazingly defined their unconditional love where they were ready to risk it all for each other even if it meant to suppress their feelings or being in a sinful relationship. Shen's diner was their love letter where they could meet again and wait for the other 😭 I loove the fact that it was not a dream just their souls meeting again because of their strong bond ! That's why we didn't need to see them in the modern world ! Just seeing them again together in their old house crying for each other was the perfect closure 🫠 Never cried so much of happiness and love for such a couple !!

I'm trying to have faith while waiting for the episodes cause all along not everyone had really the same opinion about the family, the couple etc. Maybe it will be enough for those who loved the slow pace (I hope I'm not just delusional 🥲)

Yees me too !! I wasn't excited with this drama realease at first so it has been such a big surprise. It literally went up to the first place besides Flourished Peony ! Everything it's just perfect to me from the longing love of ML and FL, the family dynamic, the character development of every each of them to the way even the serious scenes are delivered in a comedic way !
I wasn't a big fan of the FL actress before but her performance here is flawless I'm impressed everytime she delivers a certain emotion.
I'm so involved in it that reading the comments saying they hate the slow burn or the father/brother makes me want to answer all the comment help 😭😅

Did you stop before episode 17 ? There is literally 32 episodes so it's normal that they take time to give a real development to the characters. If you watched the latest episodes you could tell that the father and the brother are changing and that they don't lack willingness to do so.
You also have to remember that when a person has always been and conditioned to be the "incapable one" it's hard to just wake up one day and sudendly get your character development. Plus I find it interesting to see how their ego went up as soon as they git recognition in another world where everything was easier for them than in the modern world.
That is why I really like how they led the story of the father and the brother.
The divorce and the meeting of his ex-wife double were the only thing that could really shaken them.

Regarding the fact that FL is giving away her secrets it is because culinary competition is actually not the plot at all. I understand that the title of the drama might has misled you but if you consider the slow pace, the comedic scenes and the plot of "a whole family travels to the past" it is actually quite logical that the authors want to deliver a fun, lightweight story of a family whose food business didn't work in the modern world and suddenly gets to thrive in the past world and face their inner challenges.
FL said numerous times that those recipes were not theirs it's from the modern world so there is no point for them to gatekeep. She just wants to help and establish real relationship around her

I mean knowing if he really is her ancestor or not is literally the whole plot of the story. It is quite normal that we get to know the truth during the last episodes, otherwise there would be nothing else to tell. Plus they already released a lot of bts with their wedding etc so it will be hardly a sad ending.

I began this drama just yesterday and already binged all of the episodes that are out. It took me some time to watch it because of all the negative comments on it and the title of the drama but I'm so glad I didn't listen to those reviews !!
I looove Slow burn and it's so rare to watch a drama with a real one from the beginning to the end ! Flourished Peony had the same negative effect on people when for me it was just a delight to watch all the little glances, the angst and the longing !! Liu Yun Rui couldn't be any better for this ! His eyes just tell a whole story by themselves !
The slow pace, the longing and the slice of life with all the family's adventures makes it the perfect comfort show to watch 🥰 Plus it's so rare to find a real show that has comedic scenes all along that makes this drama ao lightweight to watch!
So if there are people who are still wondering if they should watch it and happen to like those characteristics just go for it !!

Do you know if the drama will be close to the novel ? Do you think it's a good novel ? I don't know of I should read it or not. Every time I read a novel it ends up not being that good compared to the drama 😅

Why ? I thought Moonlight Mystique had an happy ending ? Sorry I still have to watch this one but I'm not really a big fan of wuxia

I'm sorry my question is not directly realted to this drama but does anyone know what are the next dramas to air (and if possible their date) ? Because I'm kinda lost with all the rumoured drama to air and I have nothing to watch after Mobius 😅

Same ! I think that's why I didn't like Blossom as much as Flourished Peonies. Maybe I should have watched this drama before FP as I kinda subconsciously compared them and didn't enjoy it that much. It's a great drama but FP gave me more of a female centric hardships and friendship than Blossom as it kinda disappear once she gets married to Song Mo. I loved FL's smartness and how she can make a great team with Song Mo but once she gets married I felt like the story mainly revolved on ML's hardships and how she can support him as a wife. I wish I could've seen more of her realtionship with her sister and her friends.

Same 4th time trying to go through episode 10 and I finally finished it. It's a great drama but not transcendant enough to watch it in one go like I usually do. I have to admit I watched the last 15 episodes in ×2. I didn't really like those "end reveals" as some didn't make enough sense to me. I had much more fun watching Flourished Peonies or New Life Begins if we can compare if terms of genre. I think what bothered me was that once FL got married the story mainly shifted to Song Mo'hardships and how she can support him. I prefered the first ten episodes where we could see how strong she was and her female friendship.
