I stopped watching the show after episodes 12 and 13 when the ML chose to protect the man involved in trafficking women as sex slaves, despite the SML wanting to kill him. This character assassination of the ML was disappointing and made it difficult for me to continue watching.
It looks like the story is heading toward another time skip, this time for 2 years. After the events in the capital , Luo Wei rushes back to try to save his brother and his aunt, but it appears his efforts may come too late. That urgency and helplessness set the stage for a major turning point in his life.
In the trailer we see a very different Luo Wei a cold, composed military commander. That is striking because the Luo Wei we met on episode 6 was naive, goofy, and open hearted. For him to return as someone so hardened,Loosing his father possibly his Brother and Aunt that trauma and loss forced him to grow up quickly.

I just watched 5 episodes. The show is a love triangle with three guys fighting for one lady. In the show, the ML is 15 years older than the FL. He is already a minister , the FL is 18, and he is 33.
