me a south asian: first time?

I'm shocked at the negative reviews considering the happy ending they got wasn't truly happy it was appropriate but not happy because they still have shit to deal w...the only difference is they'll work on their relationship together....also not everything is black and white ... nobody is an absolute villain in this story (except the parents)
the acting is too freaking good to pass on this show

huh? as someone who has read the book the characters looks so damn accurate it feels like they jumped out of the book... especially the main couple it's like they're in the flesh...the main character weeping and moping....1000% accurate lmaooh and the dynamic of the leads in the book is so juicy it's a slow burn but when things get heated it's crazy...it was such a frustrating read because the charcters in the book do shit they know they aren't supposed to...but they do it again and again prepare to be ragebaited if it's anything like the book

this is the first time I've read the book before the show...and oh boy if it's anything like it prepared to be ragebaited every episode..trust me you will wantto strangle some characters through the screen w the amount of nonsense they do
i really liked the dynamic of the main couple especially coz one of them is nonchalant but when it comes to his bf he doesn't play at all .. there's gonna be a lot of ups and downs but the ending is satisfying

even after getting back together for the third time and no obstacle in sight for now...he was still so traumatized

the book is believe it or not even worse in terms of making you feel frustrated,sad and angry
the author is a sadist

if the second cp has no haters then I'm dead and top of that they faced zero consequences for the shit they did meanwhile LF and YC accumulated a decade of trauma and lost time

my only consolation is their best years are yet to come and they're in their early 30s coz their book counterparts were separated for 2 decades and them being together in the end was bittersweet rather than happy or hopeful because YC constantly called himself ugly and old plus he felt he let down many people in his life
this ending was a bit more cheerful and optimistic even w LFs diagnosis they can still live a fulfilling life 🥺
