The low ratings confuse me
I don't write a lot of reviews but I saw many saying the acting and storyline weren't good. That's so not true...it's just a show where you have to pay attention. It's not a long show, so they tell the story fast, jump around a lot, don't give strong indication if it's current or past and despite that they expect the audience to follow along at the same pace. Which is obviously hard for some people...Many want a story spoonfed to them and if it jumps around to much they get frustrated when they can't keep up and instead of blaming themselves they blame the actors, storyline or writing...in this case for the budget they had, in the time alotted, they did an amazing job. The chemistry was off the charts, which definitely helps, but it can't save a show from bad acting or storyline, I 100% agree with those people. But I disagree that was the case here. From beginning to end, this story keeps you watching and the actors did an amazing job and the writing did what it was supposed to, told you a story. Was this review helpful to you?

Came for the plot, stayed for the trainwreck (and the spice).
Proof that forgiving a toxic rapist in a dark BL fantasy is somehow more believable to watch than forgiving a cheating partner who lies to your face. Watch it strictly for the Bootleg Vegas and Peter and the heavy spice - ignore the main plot completely. The Good: High spice, solid physical chemistry, and non-con/bondage dynamics that actually deliver if you're looking for dark romance. The side couple stole the entire show - they are pure "Temu VegasPete," but their toxic trajectory was the only reason to finish this.
The Bad: The main storyline is infuriating. The show expects us to accept full-on infidelity and a rushed forgiveness arc like it’s no big deal. The writing, logic, and production values completely break down, and that mid-credits cliffhanger showed a lot of unearned confidence for a Season 2.

Great Acting, Great Story, Too Short
This drama is a visual buffet. There wasn't an ugly person in this drama. It's like they walked into a modeling agency and recruited a bunch of killers.Honestly I loved almost everything about this drama, the acting, the plot, the twists and turns. All kept me glued to my screen. It was just too short which left so many plot holes. If they were to take this, with the same actors (all of them, they all did a fantastic job) and give us a full fleshed out story, this could probably be a huge hit. But as it was, it was a very well done, just many unanswered questions.
