tbh its a major plot in the novel and everyone is free to watch what they want,there are so many people waiting for Lfy and reservations is currently 3M,if people want a good plot and good acting,they can tune in. This is cdrama and they'll always cater to the needs of the chinese fans first,if there are people who refuse to watch,good for them you can't convince people to do what they don't want.

Also for the record,not to brag as his fan but he was the only chinese actor approached for this role,like he was the first and last choice for the production team and the web novel adaptation,he had no competition at all,Also the novel described exactly Song weilong features as chen yi(thick eyebrows,chiseled jawline,pointed nose,lean figure,a slight scar on his face) like i said,literally no chinese actor has this exact features except him.
