thats harsh. it wasnt what happened. in the novel,it said that male lead is a local thug,very strict but has a good heart. in eps 24,Tuli his fake ex gf also explained that hes kind hearted that he do all rude stuff but still help people difference is only people who know him personally are aware of his good nature,outsiders don't. Despite his character was toned down,he never played about Miao jing in the novel,not even once.I think you misunderstood his character. He is super flawed but good,he is just chenyi🙏
ok. actually im chill. and yes they did cut some episodes. But then i felt like at some point people who didn't watch this drama were just throwing around the word "boring" so i got a bit defensive. i respect your opinion.
