Whether someone feels like watching the drama is a waste of time or not is their own business. If they like it, they’ll watch. If they don’t, they’ll stop. What does that have to do with you? And the way you all keep calling it poorly written is just because of one character Ah Shui. It’s honestly so funny.
I don’t think international fans are sharing opinions about the drama. What I did see was Ah Shui fans repeating the same complaint over and over again. There’s no notable acting range, no detailed micro-expressions, no screen presence to discuss about that character. Her relevance exists solely due to Tang LiCi’s interest on her. That’s why you guys are so sour . I get it. I take a pity on you guys 😭 . uwu being a fan of bland and boring character is tough 🤧

You guys are not offering constructive criticism based on the actual weaknesses of the story. U just don’t like the ending and wanted your favorite to get more mainlead highlights. Using garbage, rude, and vulgar words isn’t giving a bad review . it’s deliberately insulting the drama and disturbing other viewers.
Those handful of CP fans are the ones who are actually rude and lack basic decency. Since the drama began, they’ve been using harsh, aggressive language to insult other actresses. Now they’ve gone overboard again. If you’re not one of those people, then just keep quiet , the shade I’m throwing is aimed at them.
If they can go around insulting others, then I can respond too. They’re the ones getting butt-hurt when someone talks back.

Even if you’re not satisfied, Lin Yun herself is satisfied she acted willingly. If you’re unhappy, go talk to Lin Yun yourself about why she’s playing this character. No one is forcing her or pressuring her to act she’s doing it on her own 🤪

Even if you don’t care, the production and C-ent do care. Lin Yun is not on the same level as Bai Lu and Li Yitong. The support status she’s getting is what matches her level.
She doesn’t have achievements in acting or in broadcast volume, so of course she can’t become the official love interest.

This drama’s direction is about experiencing many emotions and then reaching an egoless state where the character willingly makes sacrifices.

The problem with Ah Shui fans is that they’re being delusional, treating Ah Shui’s character as if she were Tan Tai Jin’s official love interest, like Li Susu. If Li Yitong had not rejected the role of Ah Shui, then the character would indeed have had weight similar to Li Susu’s both in billing and in highlight moments.I think they originally intended to position Ah Shui as TLC’s main love interest.I don’t care about billing order, but in China it is important even the top-billed actors often have their highlight moments cut.And looks at CP promotion materials, they’re always even from variety shows all the way to Douyin promos.They never once said it was a romance. The ones loudly complaining that they don’t like the ending are all Jelly fans who keep mentioning Ah Shui. They don’t mention any other parts of the drama but only Ah Shui.

Is there a problem with that?
