I am with you on this one. Although l’ve been eagerly waiting for this drama to air, l don’t know how to feel about it airing during this crowded phase.

Episode 31 has such a strong connection to our lives. At times no matter how emotionally strong we may be, we are human after all, circumstances may get the best of us. In as much as we may bear so much love and care for people around us, when we get overwhelmed by our own emotions it may be difficult to try to put ourselves in the shoes of others who may also be going through a hard time. Yes ML knew that the FL was emotionally unstable but if we’re being honest it takes so much to cast aside one’s own pain, thoughts, anger and depression in order to cater for someone else’s suffering. Forgiving someone is really not as easy as cutting butter with a hot knife, we all know how much the ML had let his guard down to open up and trust the FL. On the other had that whole fiasco doesn’t erase the fact that he broke promises he had made to the FL who was on her road to recovery.
My bottom line is: Cut both the FL & ML some slack. At this point we have to understand that all the emotions they felt were valid!
Side note: we all foresaw what was coming but as more episodes are unfolding and we get to fully see and dive deeper into Ye Li’s life and her mental illness it gets quite emotional.

I couldn’t have said it better! I am all up for the idea of supporting one’s friends but there were countless options to how she could have handled the Ruohan situation yet she chose one of the worst ones.
This drama may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it really has it’s perks! It’s quite enjoyable if not compared with other dramas which have nothing to do with it or when you don’t have a storyline of your own in mind while watching it.☺️
