People question their skills, compare them to trained actors and hold them to a different standard. That kind of pressure, along with constant scrutiny and online criticism, can be really overwhelming.

Thank You, I’m going to add all her dramas to my watchlist. I’m glad she’s continuously getting lead roles, it seems like she’s one of the few idol-turned-actresses who consistently gets them.

OK, so Ju Jing Yi is definitely not just a typical idol, like, what do you mean...she became the queen of SNH48 (Shanghai 48) and ranked #1 among 100+ women. That’s seriously impressive. Is she really that talented? I’m starting to understand the hype from chinese fans. Thanks to VOS, I’ve discovered such a gem of an actress.

Lwyi sitting next to wooden Ji Ling in that same red robe gave me chills. The whole scene felt so heavy and eerie. Jingyi’s acting captured that atmosphere on a much deeper level, everything was restrained, but you could feel the intensity underneath.
Her portrayal of yearning there was so convincing. The slight trembling and that empty gaze made it feel like she had already cried herself numb. I’ve never seen that kind of yearning portrayed so convincingly in a female-led cdrama. It felt raw and deeply immersive.

I’m heading out now, like I said. This is getting too toxic because you fans are toxic, and I don’t want to keep engaging with that.

I don’t really see much hate toward this episode or anyone trying to invalidate Wyi and Ji sacrifice, except, honestly, from some Wy and WS fans. It feels like they keep trying to insert their fave character into the narrative just to undermine Wyi and Ji character. They twist things by asking leading questions or overanalyzing certain scenes in a way that feels more like they’re steering the conversation just to make their favorite character more important...lol

I really want this drama to come out already. I’m getting tired of seeing the same faces, Neo Hou, Cheng Yi, Lu Yuxiao, Song Weilong and other actors had 3+ dramas back-to-back recently. Lol Don’t get me wrong, their dramas are good and they’re talented, but my binge-watching brain is craving something new.
I need fresh leads. New chemistry. New faces that don’t make me feel like I’m watching an alternate universe version of their last 3 characters, it’s just burnout from seeing the same lineup over and over.
