Ikr without other characters nothing would make sense how long are we gonna see only 2 characters staring/kissing, isn't the push and pull that makes the story between 2 characters, even if they find anything boring,stating their opinion and leaving is fine, but constantly saying the same thing everyday isn't.

as far as remember police officer's wife doesn't exist in novel, when 2nd time fire incident happens and chen yi is in hospital for some weeks(ig), she stays for some time and tells him that she going away later bozai tells Chen yi that miao jing is going abroad, he follows her to station, she asks him to make a choice, he goes with her in the train he realises she has already planned everything for them to move abroad (she was confident he would come with her), they move to bagota
