Title Idol I
bye for a second i completely forgot this was a romcom because the thrill was getting to me.. i really thought…
I think these people can't understand or objectively analyze (objectively as much as possible, of course) a character...

I believe other complaints about the protagonist would arise if she were only the "nice" side of herself. That would be surreal; nobody is a "model of conduct" all the time for the masses. She feels good being a fan and understands her place. She herself says in the first episode during the fan meeting, "I'll watch you from afar."
There's nothing wrong with being an active fan; there are people who prefer to be casual fans too, and that's fine...

Title Idol I
I think the FL totally redeemed herself in Ep 2. In Ep 1 spending hours on end streaming his song from 15 years…
What are you talking about? Not all characters need to have an exemplary personality. While it's not ideal for your life to revolve around an idol, I believe it became clear that he was a pillar of support in her life, someone who followed her for years.

She was clearly happy and wasn't going crazy because of it... as the comment above said, she's good at keeping her personal and work life separate. I understand your point, but I don't think I would call it "cringey," well, maybe from your point of view. It was an important moment in her life, which helped her build her life and move on.
What's wrong with listening to a song on repeat for 15 years? I knew someone who used to listen to the same CD of the same singer every weekend, and I'm sure they didn't have the same deep emotional connection as the protagonist hahaha.

Let's demystify the idea that the world of dramas should only have perfect protagonists. It's a reflection of reality, and we all have our own great quirks. There was no redemption whatsoever.

What was shown is also part of her character and will probably return. If her personality isn't exemplary for you, there are plenty of dramas out there...

I agree with the second part of your review. They had such an interesting plot with the protagonist having a peculiar power, but instead of developing/branching out the story, they decided to sideline the protagonist and focus on the detective's journey, which is a typical journey we already know. Wasted potential.

Honest question, why do you think Roh Bin was poorly written? Can you explain it objectively?

Review Kiss Goblin
No, seriously, Oh Yeona was one of the few female protagonists I've seen who wasn't annoying. Usually, they make the mistake of portraying a tough female protagonist, trying to make her "cool," but end up creating a rude character... The opposite is also true.

Kudos to the actress; she portrayed the transition from serious Oh Yeona to lovestruck Oh Yeona very well, without seeming out of place or strange.

The FL constantly criticizes people's character and was never contradictory by demonstrating bad behavior. They made her a kind, consistent, respectful, and good person.
