Title The Husband
Its giving QOT and When the Phone Rings, but darker? I actually like how the FL ragebaits ML all the time. It…
Well, exactly. Her attitude was designed to provoke anger- not just from the protagonist, but from the viewers as well. It’s not exactly a mystery, yet many commentators don't grasp the intended dynamic. Some like her, like you do, but she’s driving me crazy, haha. Still, I do understand her personality. It’s a strong, proud one.

Title The Husband
misogyny
I don't know the profiles of the people making these comments- so perhaps some really are misogynists-but automatically labeling the act of disliking a woman as "internalized misogyny"?

Be careful with the claims you make. Not every character in a story is meant to be admired and loved by the audience—or even loved right from the start.

For the record, I’m a woman myself, and I don’t even know the lead actor... I also acknowledge that the dynamics of a marriage are too complex to simply label the female protagonist a bad person in this context. So, I’m judging her solely on professional ethics. Let’s wait and see.

Writing this actually helped calm my anger a bit, haha.

Title The Husband
misogyny
What does one thing have to do with the other? And simply disliking a woman doesn't amount to misogyny. Stop the nonsense... it's because you label everything as prejudice that real prejudice gets discredited.

"Just because it's in the synopsis, you can't hate her"- a couple can divorce for various reasons, and that doesn't necessarily imply a bad personality on the part of either character. The story was clearly designed so we wouldn't warm up to the female lead at first... that's the initial point of conflict. You're classifying the dislike of a female character due to her bad personality as misogyny? Or do you think her actions are praiseworthy? I'm not even talking about the marriage issue.

I thought dramas were meant to get you emotionally invested in the story. If it doesn't evoke any emotion, it's better not to watch it.

And, by the way, I hate her father just as much - are you going to call that ageism?

Zhan Wang was dying at the end, yet he ran after Xu Yuan. He has more stamina than I do (and I’m perfectly fine). The guy ran half the distance. What a ridiculous ending... how hard is it to write a sad ending about overcoming adversity instead of finding a magical cure? People die, and that’s okay, writing team...

MC collecting love interests like they are Pokemons. And what happened in episode 5? Haha. The plot is interesting and has a lot to work on so I don't know how the production team expected to finish it in 6 episodes of 9-10 minutes each. I mean they can finish it, but not in a good way.

Poor Sean, he got beaten up by his boyfriend (doppelganger) and even took a graze from a bullet... The funny thing is that Sean would get back with White even if it was White who beat him up 😅

The show started out well, but after the wedding it all went downhill losing any kind of logic. It feels like…
I think the drama doesn't have the time or budget to cover the conflicts these problems involve. Clearly, everything is superficial, from the full acceptance of a stranger into a family of billionaires, who wouldn't marry just any random person, but the heir. Furthermore, from the middle of the series onwards, I felt strange because of Tim's drama. His parents traveling far away because of debts to gangsters is an extremely serious issue, but it was never really addressed. Besides, how much time are these gangsters giving Tim? I would have lost patience at that point, hahaha. It's like trying to condense a library book into a summary for your language teacher. You can't fit marriage drama, debts, and deception into 12 episodes.

We don't talk about that... Just as we don't talk about the fact that an extremely wealthy family couldn't, or didn't want to, find out that the HEIR's boyfriend had a completely fabricated story (Tim clearly wouldn't be able to hide information so well).

THIS IS A DRUG, OMG. IT'S FUNNY, BUT IT HAS ITS SERIOUS MOMENTS. IT'S RIDICULOUS, BUT IT HAS EROTIC MOMENTS. I screamed like a crazy fangirl while watching. I'm blown away by the quality of this production! I didn't expect much from it, but the two protagonists have out-of-this-world chemistry. Our protagonist is a little silly sometimes, but the serious moments are serious moments! I'll just wait until it finishes to give it 5 stars...

Title One Ordinary Day Spoiler
Fear does that. I still do not have the courage to watch it again just yet but tonight I will try.
Fear should also have the opposite effect. The protagonist repeatedly experienced the consequences of words spoken without thinking. In every situation he faced, he worsened his own situation by speaking. At that point, his mouth should have become unable to speak, his heart should have started racing, any reaction would have been sufficient, since he had already experienced the consequences repeatedly.

Doesn't your body start protecting you when it recognizes that certain actions put you in situations of greater stress or danger? And you can tell me how that actually happens in the series (him getting nervous and not being able to speak), but I would say it would be a constant block. Not the kind that leaves you sitting in the witness chair and continuously answering questions from the prosecution – which only leads you further into trouble.

Anyways, these situations are difficult to judge, as they vary depending on the person's personality. And these are emotions that are difficult to simulate.

"We would be the same under the exact same circumstances." Seeing his life, it doesn't surprise me that…
I mean, I understand what you're trying to say and what your criticism is. Maybe because they're on different levels?

A celebrity has absolutely no privacy regarding anything in their life and is exposed to millions of people whose faces they don't even know.

I believe the case is different with Se-Na and Laik; he felt they were close and didn't have bad intentions. He has a deep emotional connection with her and felt he could explore something about someone else if that someone were her.

But it's okay, it's really not cool to invade someone's privacy by digging through old memories without permission, even if the person is close. I think it was the only way for the plot to progress since Se-na was so determined to hide everything hahaha.

"We would be the same under the exact same circumstances." Seeing his life, it doesn't surprise me that he developed this personality. From the outside it's irritating, but there are many conflicting and complex feelings involved in these situations. Nothing is black and white. He recognized his mistakes and is changing. There's not much more he can do beyond that.

We all make mistakes, and sometimes our opportunity for improvement didn't come to others as it did to us. We function differently and are more than just a label. I think you need incredible maturity and seriousness to deal with dramas involving realistic personalities like these without wanting to insult the characters.

Hi, (commenting this everywhere)Whoever see this, please reply!Tomorrow is my last final exam!I want good drama…
Pyramid game? I don't know, hahaha, I feel like we have similar tastes. I also like that theme, but unfortunately it's difficult to find something that targets the type of drama we want (fighting, school setting, bullying).

None of my recommendations involve fighting; they're more focused on power dynamics and strategy. Fighting seems more like something you see in manhwas than in kdramas.

By the way, bitch x rich too! Maybe you'll like it. There are many examples along those lines, like Hierarchy, but I wouldn't recommend that one. I'm mentioning it in case you want to try it. I feel like the first season of bitch x rich is great, but they lost their way in the second.

It seems clear at this point that MDL can't really be trusted. I don't know if it's the general sense of misery…
It's normal for people to complain. This space exists precisely so that people can share their thoughts. Although I understand your point of view, I wouldn't say that – in this case at least – there's the negativity you're talking about.
We're all being respectful; nobody's saying "This series is trash" and that's it.

I believe that currently we're more saturated due to the excess of dramas produced, so it's harder to be impressed and easier to criticize. Besides, obviously, we're suffering from anxiety due to social structural changes, the culture of immediacy – without patience – and the excess of information on the internet. It tends to get worse.

I completely agree that people are becoming more negative online. That's a fact. In reality, they've always been negative, hahaha, but I think they're becoming dumber and easier to influence to spread hate...

But anyway, regarding the drama reviews and this, I think it's already well explained. We're being respectful HERE, I believe it has more to do with social changes than isolated cases of people miraculously becoming angry.

Curiosity: you can check taxi fares at Seoul Metropolitan Government Official site... And when I say that the more details you bring up, the worse the situation gets, I mean the protagonist's situation... maybe that sounded rude.

Well, that's what you think, I can't refute your personal logic beyond highlighting what is ridiculous according to my common sense. Every detail you bring up makes the situation worse.
I don't know the crime rate in Seoul, nor am I interested in researching it, so I can't comment on the likelihood of it being stolen. But being there during the day doesn't rule out crime... especially something that can happen as discreetly as a robbery, or let's say theft.

Besides, it's clearly much smarter to use transport than to walk when you're carrying a large amount of money. I doubt his girlfriend would refute that; there are many variables in the process of walking home, including the very real possibility of theft. They spent over 50,000 won playing around testing his powers. Looking at taxi rates in Seoul, I don't think it would be more expensive.

Simply put:
30 million -> Walking home??
Crossing a bridge = home is far away + why walk?
Having the power to make money disappear easily = don't carry money if possible, especially large amounts. Especially if it's your mother's entire life savings.
Girlfriend obsessed with money = besides becoming poor, risk of getting dumped.

I have nothing more to add.

No, I understand, but couldn't they have done it in a smarter way?
Of course, this point was necessary in the narrative, after all, there's no other reason to include a power with such specifications if not to guarantee a moment where the protagonist decides to sacrifice the money to do good; it's a superhero drama! It's a moment that would have to come eventually...

But the point is: let's be smarter. There's no logic in walking across a bridge with a package of money - again - considering the amount and the unpredictable powers. Needing the moment, fine. But making the protagonist lose his common sense to reach that point in the narrative? Bad!

This frustrates the viewer, it doesn't bring the impact that this conflict should bring - a real reflection for the viewers making us question our morals - We can't side with mc because we simply end up thinking: "What a stupid guy!"

For God's sake, I haven't even finished episode 1, but what a fool he is with that kind of money. He should have called his girlfriend at the café... Noooo, what is he going to do crossing a bridge with 30 million, especially with the power he has?

Okay. Whoever comes up with the logic of these stories must be high.
