The only thing he did wrong was not communicating with Farm when he realized he'd be running late after working with the junior girls. There's no excuse for that he could have found a way to notify Farm before his phone died or wtv. Now, except the next episode is going to show that Van did in fact cheat, I'm not going to accuse him of that.
