I think the female character is letting her anger cloud her thinking 😭 she’s very smart, no doubt, but overconfidence and underestimating her ex makes her lose to him all the time. I understand her anger and eagerness to make him pay, I completely do. But she needs to take it one step at a time.

Wow, this was better than I expected, loved it! It was well written, imo. I laughed, cried, and got mad, but overall it was enjoyable.

I loved the ending. A solid 8.5/10 overall. Brilliant writing, and every character stood out 😊 I didn't even expect to love the eighteenth prince, but I did. As for the emperor, well, I’m still side-eyeing him😅

Second ML didn't ‘change’ he’s always just been malicious and obsessed with ruining ML, and when backed into a corner, he decided to show himself. He’s the typical ‘good guy’ those online incels who think women or people in general should thank them for being good because deep down, they’re being good simply because they think it’ll pay off instead of just being a good person.

From the first moment since the show began (probably after he wanted to arrest ‘Chief Master’ AFTER planning to take down ML together), I knew Second ML was devious and I wish he got a worse ending than just easily dying 😒

I think we all do but it gets to a point where someone in her position could have been a little more observant and she wasn't. AT ALL! Her sister in the book was mean, but now, she isn't yet FL still thinks ML was the one who seduced her sister. If she noticed some things were different in others, why not the ML?

She’s spent time with this guy, why would she think he’d drug her sister? That was my breaking point 😅 I understood her up until then lmao

It took at least 25 episodes for her to give him a chance omg😂💔 I’ve never been this frustrated. Ik you might be saying thid to defend her cause people always attack FLs but let’s be honest, she was unbearable sometimes, and I think it was intentional from the writer.

Okay, FL got progressively better and I’m back to loving her wholeheartedly😅. I don't care if the emperor regrets not believing his 9-year-old son back then, I still won’t forgive him 😒 I can excuse Second ml and eighteenth prince, they were babies themselves but the emperor? Hell no!

And something is definitely fishy about Second ML’s father. Why do I feel like he transmigrated too?? Hmm

I’m on ep 20 and I do love the FL, she makes me laugh A LOT... But I’m kinda frustrated with her perspective of ML. Like she read the outcome, and she’s scared of who the ML was in the book. I know that but like omg, when does she actually start using her brain? Reading the room? Observing certain cues? When does she realise that everything is not as they seem?


20 episodes is already long enough for a bit of a change, no? Or am I impatient? Goodness’s sake, she doesn't even give him the benefit of a doubt. I was enduring it until that scene she imagined that ML might use an aphrodisiac to force himself on her sister, like girl bffr. Why would Nan Heng do do that???

ML is already pitiful, can there be at least ONE person who isn't his mother that genuinely cares about him? There's only so much a human can take💔

Actually, I had a lot to say. I like this show, it made me laugh a lot and the plot is so nice so naturally, I had stored a lot to applaud. But after episode 34-35, I’m just numb😭 I have no tears left and I know there’ll be more pain waiting at the front. Man, fuck that stupid second prince! He’s as useless as his father!

I’m watching the show cause it has a good plot and good acting. But to answer your question, we don't have to ask Bruce that cause he's not in an “unofficial” ship, and he's out here playing it safe by acting multiple bromances. Come on, even the Chinese media with all its strict rules didn't play in our faces like that. Of course when you don't care or barely care about the lgbtq+ community it’s easy for you to defend this in the weirdest way possible.

And before you go, “they don't have to kiss!” “they don't have to do nc scenes” yeah, you're right. Shows like, “A shoulder to cry on” barely had hugs, we didn't get a kiss scene but it’s so many people’s favourite.

GmmTv knows SkyNani are good actors, Sky has been popular long before even HSF, so why not use them to earn? Lol they don’t want to do bl but they know things like being a pair brings money and benefits so they hopped on it.

So yeah, queerbaiting. It’s a good show but also we can't act like we don't see what’s happening. I'm not going to ramble on about how GmmTv is indirectly/unknowingly promoting homophobia in queer spaces by doing this repeatedly, so I am just going to say let's just enjoy the series without acting like people who understand how this can backfire on the community are being dramatic.

Hi! I finished it last night and it was definitely a masterpiece (although I understand if you don't like it). And since you said you struggled and dropped it at episode 21, I definitely think you should pick it back up because from there, the stakes rose and more plot twists unfolded.

Definitely a 9/10 from me.

I'm currently watching this. I'm on episode 9 (I randomly came here to check if it’s a happy ending to avoid heartbreak and then saw your comment) And one thing I’ll always respect is people’s opinions on shows because we can't all have the same tastes and we might not like certain tropes, but to say the FL can't act? I must be watching something else? Lol because she's doing a great job. Although I’d prefer a different makeup on her.

And before you think I am biased or anything, I am new to Cdrama world (started binging lots of them last month lol), so I don't even know her name. I've only ever seen her in The Untamed tbh.
