Yeah she would have hated it. I guess I kinda took the master as a super rational character for the first half of the drama and it was just so irrational all of a sudden that it felt really out of place or unbelievable perhaps?

He left it to his two underlings to manage - this was when he thought he was about to die. I think the intention is that he will live in Luoying Valley (from the comments of the two subordinates during the wedding), but I’m not sure this means he’s given up his title in the demon sect.

I am quite unsure about how I feel about this drama. Although the ending was ultimately a happy one for the leads, I’m not really convinced by the so called “plot twist” and the FL’s master’s motivations for seemingly wanting to kill everyone as revenge for the Aunt and to clean up Jianghu? It just seemed so irrational and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. The ML’s miraculous recovery was not unexpected but I thought there would be more to it than just Uncle Lei’s ten second commentary. And that final bloodbath with the leads against the FL’s master was also much more bloody than I ever recall seeing in any drama!!! I’m trying to give a rating but finding it hard. I’m not sure what to make of this drama. I was really impressed with the leads (first drama I have ever seen with them), but the storyline in the last few episodes just felt strange to me.
