Boring as hell. It was so bad, but the worst part is that there was actually potential to be great. The writing was ass wherever the FL goes, the ML is magically right there, and vice versa. Did the writers and director really think viewers are this gullible? There are so many coincidences I keep rolling my eyes. The so-called bad guys are ass too they have zero depth and operate on two brain cells. Whenever they’re in a scene, things get boring AF. I swear the whole show feels like it was filmed in four places, even though they literally shot an episode in Singapore. Most of the time, nothing happens. The ML is completely 2D at least build both leads! The acting wasn't the strong suit either; I like the FL, but the writing pulled her down. The whole ghost bit had so much potential, but after episode one, they did nothing with it. In the end, it was a total waste. I can watch bad, but I can't stand boring, and this was boring AF.

It was solid for my first C-drama, but it falls victim to telling instead of showing. Many story elements could have been depicted through scenes and flashbacks rather than plain dialogue. It wasn't bad, but after finishing it, I didn't feel deeply connected to the story or remember much. There's just a bit too much talking at times. It's definitely inspired by Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, which isn't an issue since it takes a fresh approach, for better or worse. While Cha-Cha-Cha had better direction and flashbacks, Meet Yourself has a better script and strong acting, even if the pacing gets a bit dull
