They actually did bring him to a psychologist (EP 3), and the show mentioned that Solar needs to confront and process his own trauma with professional guidance too. I think the series just doesn’t focus heavily on the medical side because it’s more of a drama/comedy than a full psychological or medical drama.
Also, from what I understand, it’s not exactly DID either. The show leans more toward trauma-induced age regression/splitting as a coping mechanism, which is why the story emphasizes Solar dealing with the trauma itself rather than “eliminating” one personality. So I don’t think the intention was to make Sun disappear, but more for both sides of him to reconcile and heal.
That said, I do understand why some scenes can feel overly emotional or forced depending on the viewer. The tone definitely won’t work for everyone.

Here’s my take. This is still a drama mixed with comedy, so I don’t think we can expect everything to be fully realistic. Even the characters’ extremely colorful outfits — which I doubt people would wear every day — already show that the series has a very dramatic and exaggerated style.
Also, not everyone immediately relies on or is fully aware of professional help in real life either. And actually, Phobmek did bring Solar to a psychologist in the drama. From what I know, the psychologist was even played by a real psychologist whom P’Dome consulted for research before filming the series. She mentioned that Solar did have trauma.
After the truth behind Solar’s childhood was finally revealed — which probably helped him truly face the trauma he had buried for years — Solar said he was okay, or at least pretended to be. Since all of that happened on the same day, Phobmek and the others probably believed that Solar had finally resolved the pain that had been haunting him for so long. So from their perspective, they might’ve thought everything was finally okay, even though healing isn’t really that simple.
