tat must be why there was no hugging scene, and there was one at last btn my bros but it was just too not well shown.... prob censorship... like there were like more than 60-70 times where I could only think of them kissing each other as the best way to console each other or calm each other down. Like the emotions were perfect, the plot was perfect and all that was remaining was a kiss to solve all their problems.

also the fortune teller had told that somethhing really good and something worse would happen to her(or around her?) sothe worse was death and best was revival? I thought it had something to do with romance like how she was told old love and new love...

okeyy soo this drama might have next season... but ppl, these mystery dramas are somehow interconnected with other dramas aas well like time raiders like hoow we can see Wu Xie a the end... like i was wondering that Zhang Qiling was in time raiders too... now i wanna dig deeper. I was sooooo satisfied with this drama like tooo satisfied.

She is a brilliant actress, I love er role in Archives: Nanyang Mystery. She is my most favourite character out of all in this brilliant drama.

Since AI-generated videos started taking over, Chinese dramas have been using them for quite a few scenes. I just watched 1st 30 secs of The First Jasmine and am so disappointed by how they used an AI-generated video. This wouldn't be such a turnoff if the ai generated video was good enough. It just doesn't suit a drama of this scale.
