is anyone else actually excited about episode 7?! after watching the preview I was surprised by how many comments there were saying that it’s not fun to have kids on the show and how that’s not what the audience wants to see. but for me I was just in awe of their talent, i genuinely couldn’t close my mouth the entire video 😮 those kids are insanely talented!! and i think it will be fun to see their interactions and I just know it’s going to be total chaos hahaha 😭I’m looking forward to it. the scene in the preview where the kids were critiquing Kaspers performance was lowkey so funny!!!

I agree with what you said to an extent, but I think there are a few points missing. I 100% believe popularity can create bias. And I don’t think being unfamiliar with the directors automatically makes someone a better judge. It just means you’re coming in with a different perspective. And with the title sequence, I agree that dancers should make the most of whatever they’re given. But that doesn’t address whether they were given a fair opportunity to demonstrate themselves in the first place. If the director controls things like screen time, formations, lighting, etc; then they also have a significant influence over how much a dancer is able to stand out. The whole point of the title sequence film was to showcase each director equally and I feel like that wasn’t really accomplished.

I totally agree. I liked both teams works but I felt like choosing simeez and ingyoo was risky because like you said it’s high risk. like yeah the fabric is cool but what about consistency and quality. and it’s at the very beginning of the performance so if something goes wrong like how the first time she couldn’t get out of net, it could send the whole performance down hill

one of the many things that has bothered me from the beginning is the judging (or lack of), why the hellll are they letting CONTESTANTS be judges🤨??? you cannot convince me that there is absolutely no bias in their decisions. it’s a competition, everyone wants to win no matter what. the same goes with the public voting, popularity differs, so instead of being judged properly based on the quality of their performance, it has now become a popularity contest.
another thing that irked me is when kooyoung and the other judges were evaluating who they would send to the Last Stage 24H, first of all why is kooyoung even a judge in this scenario i don’t knowww?? and this very very important detail: KOOYOUNG DIRECTED AND CHOREOGRAPHED THE ENTIRE VIDEO. sooooooo why are the judges saying, “this person didn’t stand out much,” “their dance section could have been better.” they had no input in the direction and choreography, so if they didn’t stand out, how is that their own faults, it was already directed and choreographed from the beginning, the just had to fill in as dancers. 😭😭
